    Myth
I felt the need to chime in here... Tamed, twins are truly not as hard as everyone thinks they are. Don't go out and buy two cribs they sleep a lot better if they are in bed with one another. It's the only way they know. Make sure that you do your feedings with them very close to the same time. And the biggest thing is to keep a schedule with them. My twins just turned one three days ago. They sleep 12 hrs at night with one to two 2hr naps a day. Keeping a schedule is going to keep you sane. You can trust me on that one. Feel free to send me a message if you want to. I do have some experience in the area of twins.

Thanks CBW, you know you've being my rock so far with this pregnancy and I pray you find such good favours in every aspect of your life.
By the by, how did your scan go? Is everything OK with the bambino and you? How's millie doing? Has she recovered?

Everythings fine so far hunn it's a wee lad its been a long long day I certainly won't be late to bed tonight, millie seems to be on the mend going to probably take her back to the dr on Wednesday just to get her ear re checked as they did ask me to take her back.
    How you feeling??

    Myth
We call that placenta brain, cause your so busy worrying about what the placenta is doing for the baby you just forget everything else... lol. Not to mention I haven't been around as much as I usually am. I've been gutting the house we bought and getting it put back together how I want it... lol. I'll post picks of the finished product. I'm going to be sitting a second set of twins after we move that are a month younger than mine. My hubby thinks I'm insane. I figure they need me and my kids need other kids to play with so why not where I can be there and supervise them.

    *edit*
Oh and just to let you know that when your at your wits end and they are screaming at the top of their lungs it's OK to put them in a safe place and let them cry a little. It's better than letting your emotions get to them cause they will know when your frustrated and unhappy and it will upset them. I still have to give myself a time out some days *especially during their more vocal teething*.

Placenta brain... I like that! Good luck with the house gutting although I must say that I admire you for finding time to do all these things. You're like supermum or something. I don't think you're insane wanting to babysit another set of twins, I can understand you perfectly. I was saying to my hubby the other day that I wouldn't mind another set of twins after these ones come out. Don't ask me why but even with all the stuff I've gone through with this pregnancy, I would gladly do it again. Ok, now I'm just talking plain stupid... ignore me.
I have to thank you once again for your reassuring words, my life seems less chaotic now, you're like a refreshing hot bath at the end of a hectic day.

Woo Hoo! A wee little lad at least you can put your mind at ease a little more now that you know things are OK with him. I'm very happy for you though, take it easy and get plenty of r & r.
I'm good, still got this pain that makes it painnfully difficult to walk. Docs think it may be SPD but I'll see what the midwives say on thurs.
Good to hear that millie's doing OK too.

Is the pain right on you pelvic bone hun? Can move slightly to one side or the other?
  • Sep 4, 2007, 11:45 AM
    tamed
The pain is actually quite difficult to describe but I'll try to put it into words. Its more around my pubic bone, walking is agonising and moving from side to side is a nightmare, even opening my legs too wide is painful. Do you know of something similar?

    Myth
I went through the same type of pain all throughout my pregnancy with the twins. I was told that it was my sons head resting on my pubic bone and my daughters weight on his was causing the pain. I also had a lot of round ligament pain. It really didn't get too unbearable until around six months though. I had to sit at work because of it. The dr put me on moderate bed rest at five months though because I was high risk and working was causing me to swell up so bad.

Congrats on the little man cbw. I think I missed that the first time around.

Oh bless you crystal the more you worry about it the less likely you will be to feel the monstar having the party, try laying down on your back and drinking a VERY cold drink.

How are you all feeling today??

OK guys I'm going to try the things you suggest and we'll see what happens.
Last night my husband and I were being naughty and when I laid down I THINK I felt the baby change sides one half of my stomach was hard and the other soft so that put we at a little more ease.

I'm kind of late to join this party... been a while since I've been on! But I am 29 weeks and 2 days... (according to the latest due date change that is). I've had a dream-pregnancy... never got sick... but I have had a ton of heartburn, lol. And now that I'm HUGE... and it's HOT... I'm starting to get uncomfortable... but it's still better than some of what I've read... sorry it's been so rough ladies! Love and hugs to you all!! Just thought I'd throw myself in the party... **smiles & hugs**

    :) Kris
