It's not normal, but it is not unusual either. Spotting can be caused from placenta previa, but cramping is a sign that you need to report to your doctor as soon as possible. You have already had one miscarriage and this can be a symptom of a threatened miscarriage.

It may be nothing at all, but you need to have it checked out with your personal doctor rather than relying on the internet.

Well maybe I shouldn't have used the word "normal", but it is very common to have both of these syptoms early in pregnancy, more so the cramping... and nothing be wrong. But IMO no issue should be left unquestioned to your doctor.

Again, only a doctor is going to be able to correctly diagnosis.

    Stress while pregnant!
How to deal with stress while pregnant!?

The same way you would when you're not pregnant... do what ever you would to calm yourself down. Go for a walk... do a hobbie you enjoy... talk about your feelings to a friend.
I don't think dealing with stress changes much when you're pregnant.

I just read the post, but I still don't understand... yes there are things that can help with stress, but no, we can't make your problems go away.
Like I said go for a walk to get your mind off things, go be with your friends...

Do you remember when you last period was? Usually that is a good indicator of how far along you might be.

    Gestational age is usually considered to be the age of an embryo or fetus (or newborn infant) from the first day of the woman's last menstrual period. This standard system of counting the progression of pregnancy starts approximately two weeks before fertilization takes place;
The gestational age should not be confused with the fertilization age, (also called conceptional age or developmental age) of an embryo or fetus; the fertilization age is always counted from fertilization, and the gestational age is usually greater by about two weeks.

I did a little research, does this make sense to why you are 2 weeks off on your dates?

What I was told from my family doctor and what it could be because I was bleeding after I had the implantation bleeding so they think it was possible that I got pregnant but the baby it was so early and it got termanated so then I got pregnant again they said!! Because my dates realli don't match up!! So they said it could be a possibility that that could have happened!! And that's y I was bleeding at the time!!

I have been eating a lot and gaining a bit of wait but when I went for my 1st u/s it was around my 4th to 5th week of pregnancy but I couldn't c no fetal pole and there was only one sac!! I go for my next u/s tomorrow could there be a possible chance or could I have seen 2 sacs rite away? Could it be possible 2 have twins but only seen one sac so far?

Chill out a bit hun... I just got home from taking my OB and Pediatric finals. Remember, we don't work here, we do this for free in our spare time.

Now, you don't always need 2 placentas or 2 "sacs" with twins. Identical twins will carry just one placenta and one "sac"

Sometimes twins lay directly behind one another, so some times the doctor will see only one fetus.

Now, it's your hCG level that concerns me. It is quite high, which may indicate twins, or possibly a Hyaditaform Mole, or a molar pregnancy.

Thank you my doctor never gave me any bad news about the baby either then I didn't c a fetal pole at 4 an half weeks so!! Could it be a big possibillity even though there are no twins in my family!!

My aunt was expecting twins and there are no twins in both there family!! So I think that there could be a chance of maybe twins!!

It's always possible. Twins to HAVE to run in families.

    mustang0529
Well they don't always have to like I said previously my aunt was having twins and there were no other people on there sides who had twins...

Identical twins do not run in families --though of course several can be in one family. Identical twins result when a single egg splits in two, which is a sporatic event and not prone to genetic predisposition.

Fraternal twins can run in families because they result from two eggs being fertilized at once. Some women have a condition where more than one egg is released during ovulation, making the chance of fraternal twins higher (and genetically predisposed)

Its possible you could have twins but until there is another ultrasound you won't know. Just try to relax for now and enjoy your pregnancy.

Are your blood levels very high?
Most women at one time or another in their pregnancy think that's it's twins, I know I did and to be honest with you those who do get pregnant with twins usually don't know until a later ultrasound.

Yes, crystal, her blood levels are VERY high for her gestational date. 32,000 to be exact.

Well in that case it could be twins or even a molar pregnancy like you said.
Most likely unless your doctor does another scan you want know till a later scan.
    How many weeks are you?
