I have sort of a problem.. as all you might no I was pregnant twice already this year and I miscarried July 5 2007.. and then 3 months later I got pregnant again and then when I hit 14 an a half weeks I had to have a D&C done January 31 2008... I have been having irregular periods... my question is.. is that I had unprotected sex last week but it was while I was on my period it was for 2 days... and I have been off my period and for the past 3 days my stomach has been so sore like I have cramps and I don't understand if I'm off my period I shouldn't be having them... could it be possible that 3 months after I had the D&C whitch would be when I had sex could that I mean I might be pregnant... has anyone ever felt signs of early pregnancy after 7-9 days after having unprotected sex... I would really like some info... bcuz I am feeling the same way I did those to other times I found out I was pregnant... and also it is around the 3 months of the D&C and it happened with me the last time in the matter of 3 months!!

Lots of people feel pregnant after unprotected sex. Seriously, though—you may not always feel the same way for each pregnancy. My wife was pregnant with twins, and she felt really pregnant from the get-go. We lost the twins, and now she is pregnant again 5 months later. She had her period like twice since then. But she says she doesn't feel pregnant at all. No sore boobs, nothing—just no period. I think the best thing you can do is see you doctor and get a test. Then you'll know for sure.

That's the problem though... like I had said I was on my period while having unprotected sex about 7-9 days ago.. and now I have been having weird pains in my stomach and cramps even though my period is not here... and I have never had cramps after I was done my period... and also it is way to early to detect pregnancy I'm just woundering if anyone has had any early symptoms of pregnancy and if they can share there storey it would mean a lot to me...

If you tend to ovulate early, or just happened to this cycle, then you could have gotten pregnant. Stomach cramping can be from so many different possibilities, so you'll have to wait and see how things go. Maybe try a test in another week or so and see what results you get.

Wouldn't it be still to early to check for a hpt? I have never had these cramps and sore pain in my lower stomach rite after I finished my period.. I usually get it before or nothing at all.. I had something like this the second time I was pregnant.. but I am still unsure.. I wish I new if I was or not..

I no this might be too much info... but I also forgot to say that ever since Saturday I was having a lot of discharge something I don't normally have there is no odor.. but it was not normal when I seen it.. it was like a white like egg whites.. and then clear... I had it more yesterday then the other 2 days.. could that possibly mean that I wa ovulating at that time and that there is a really high chance that I conceived??

Your cramping and the discharge could be from ovulation. Some women will have cramping prior to ovulation, some during it, and some right afterwards. If you had the sex a week ago, and you give it another week, if you were pregnant it could show up that early for some women. Some tests are sensitive enough and women have gotten positives about 8 -10 dpo. Most will have to wait longer for an accurate result, but a small percentage do show up early on.

I had my positive HPT at 10 dpo. It usually takes longer, 14dpo is more common. If you don't know exactly when you ovulated you have no choice but to wait until you're late.

I had symptoms ever cycle I tried.. but they were "phantom" symptoms. Turns out when I actually got pregnant I didn't notice a thing.

P.S.
You're not going to want to hear this, but you have to stop and give your body some rest. A D&C and/or miscarriage is traumatic to your body and becoming pregnant so soon and so often in a short period could make it harder to keep the baby till term. Typically, you should wait at least a few months before trying again... talk to your doctor about this.

So when should I check for a HPT? And has anyone had any early symptoms like this please ease my mind so I don't think I'm crazy.. I have been pregnant twice so I no the symptoms but never had it this early... I have back pains... frequent headaches.. I have stomach pains and cramps... I've been feeling sick for a few days like I need to throw up but I don't... and sometimes when I stand up I get light headed and I have lots of CM which I never really have... if anyone had early signs like this and ended up pregnant please let me no.. Go to your doctor. That is the only way for sure to find out what is going on. It is possible that something else is going on. Truthfully no one here can say for sure.

So get an appointment set up especially with a history of pregnancies and other problems. You will need to get the advice of a medical doctor, get it thoroughly checked out to rule out the obvious of either infection or any kind of pregnancy. Okay.

When should I test?

I am currently 8 DPO(days past ovulation) and I want to no when is a good time to take a HPT how many dpo should I be to take a HPT??

Some women will get an accurate result this early... most will have to wait until closer to when they are due for their next period or when their period is actually late. You could try, but if it is negative, it may truly be negative or it may be too early yet so you won't really know for sure. Try to give it several more days or see what happens with your period, if you can stand the wait.

Well if u seen my other post.. I pretty much ovulated rite after my period.. so for me to wait another 2 weeks would really drive me nutz...

Give a test a try... if it's negative... try another one in several more days. Good luck!

OK thanks a lot... but I think I'm going to wait until I am at least 12 DPO so I have a better chance of getting a better result and if that one comes out negative I'm going to wait a few more days after that..

I never heard of HPT being sold at a dollar store. Do you really want to take that chance?

I don't want to try it just in case of it gives me the wrong answer like if I were to be pregnant and then it shows up negative.. but I remember hearing someone use it and it did come up that they were pregnant... but I don't want to take the chance your righht!

Yes they work. I have had a correct positive and a negative from my dollar tree tests.

And also how many DPO can u take a test I am now 10DPO?

I don't recommend that you take them DPO. Rather, you need to take them after the missed period. It takes a while for hCG to show up in your system and DPO is very early.

Remember, the first symptom of pregnancy is a missed period.

I used one with my son and it showed up like 2 days before my missed peroid.

I took a pregnancy test before my period and it came up nagative, then I took it 5 days after my missed period and it came up positive. So I think you should wait or if your really worried about it go get blood test done.

I'm not worried at all I would be happy to be a mom... I will wait.. but something is telling me that I no I am.. because I have been pregnant twice and the symptoms I am having r the same... = )

Well have you ever heard of the HPT Early Response? I heard it is supposed to detect early pregnancy up to 4 days before your period.

Well I've had 5 clearblue digital hpt and the ones I've bought from the pound shop some have a very very faint line while others showed up negative I wouldn't recommend them I am due for my period 20 may 2008 and tested with clear blue on the 12 may 2008 the just to make sure again as I couldn't believe it I brought one from the pound shop and it came up negative.so no I won't be buying any more.

I mean I had 5 positive with clear blue digital sorry

My last period was on march the 26 its may the 19 and I still haven't gotten my period and the expenssive test are coming out negative I don't know if I'm pregnant or not but I guess all test are not 100% right all the time no matter how cheap or expensive it is.

My question is how long after implantation bleeding should I wait to test? I no that I am experiencing IB because I had a period may 3 for 5 days and 17 days later witch is now I am spotting really light... like a pinkish watery colour and some brownish colour... I am currently 13DPO and I wanted to no how long I should wait to test after IB??

Please understand that implantation bleeding is not medically proven. You should try to test about when you think you should have had your period.

That's the problem I have irregular periods and I had some bleeding 17 days after my period and I have never had that happen ever..

Did you have intercourse around the time of the bleeding? Again, you are in the waiting zone unfortunately. You should probably try testing in a week or so.

Yes I did have intercourse around that time... do people usually get a positive on the day of IB or does it take a while for the HCG to go into your system??
