    Hey,

In answer to your question, I didi tell my parent but not until a while later. But at your age you are in a good place because you have been with the guy for a while so you have that to back you up. Plus right now your parents don't like your boyfriend very much so the last thing you want to do is upset them more by being dishonest with them. What I did was I went to my mom first because she is the one that I am closest to. I thought she was going to freak out on me but she actually took it really well. I guess she was glad I told her instead of her having to find out through a third party. Your also using birth control which is another plus to back up what you have to say. It just shows that you listen and are responsible enough to make the right decisions for you. As long as your parents can see that you are being responsible they won't get as mad as you think. But I know that it can be hard to find the right way of telling them so I would suggest going over it a few times by yourself before you talk to them.

The chances of pregnancy from a single episode of unprotected sex are pretty low, and there are a lot of other possible explanations to your symptoms, so I wouldn't assume the worst. Although, as a chronic worrier myself, I can see why you are paranoid. All you can really do is wait it out, not what you want to hear I know, but nobody will say anything to make you feel too much better. Just remember this feeling now though, and be sure to avoid being unsafe in the future so you don't have to go through this.
