I am trying to follow the ovulation calendar to get pregnant but unfortunately my periods are not regular..
Ur welcome you can try your test and see what they say
How long have you been trying? It is common for couples to try for up to a year before conceiving. Sometimes even longer. Have you recently come off a hormonal birth control? Many times when a woman ends her regulated birth control, her cycle can be a little off for several months. Your periods don't seem to be that irregular to me. Most women have a cycle that lasts between 28 and 35 days, and while your cycle seem to be a little longer, there is still a pattern to it.
I have never like ovulation calculators. Pay attention to your discharge. A lot of time, when we are ovulating we will have a clear stretchy discharge. This is the best time to try and conceive.
I would suggest trying to have sex at least once to twice per week, and at least 3 times during the time when you are ovulating. If you can't determine when you are ovulating by the discharge, don't worry and just try to have sex at least once or twice a week.
Also, try not to think too much about conceiving. Just go with the flow, and let nature serve it's course. Many times women will stress their bodies out just by thinking/trying too hard to become pregnant. Good luck to you!
Thank you Angel and allz :)
And I will try to pay attention for my ovulation time. :(
Good luck! And don't become discouraged!

The fact that your periods are not regular could complicate it a little bit, but you usually ovulate 14 days after the end of your last period. If it's really irregular I'd go see a doctor about it as there could be an underlying problem or that could just be how you are. There are also ovulation detectors out there I think that could probably help you out and be a bit more accurate than counting the days.
Sorry forgot to add that if you count another 14 days after the ovulation time then that should be the day that your next period would start. So take the date your last period ended and add 28 days. Some people differ though... it just depends.
