Okay I get that pulling out isn't birth control. I get that. I KNOW that. But I was just saying it to show he did have protection and pulled all the way out before.

Just so you know, you may not get everything you need to know in Health class. And if you ended up prenant... you can all but guarantee that he's NOT going to be there... and even if he is.. it won't likely be for long. Statistically it happens MOST of the time... she get prenants... he splits. Seriously, young guys lie all the time to get in your pants... I was a young guy once... in fact was your age once... 34 years ago. I've seen it far too often and would hate to see your life and future ruined over some dumb guy that only had one thing on his mind. We do mature eventually... usually in our 30's. Before then you have to assume we are after one thing. And some can be VERY convincing.

You have to be mature AND take charge of your OWN well being... you can't rely on a boy to do it.

My girlfriend thought she was pregnant one time and I had a panic attack. And we are in our 20's, not teens, so I know how your boyfriend feels. On the other hand, we have been having sex on a regular basis for 2 years and I have used a condom maybe twice. She's on the pill and I pull out, most of the time ;)), so it's different for everybody. Some girls can get pregnant just looking at a guys member.

I wasn't criticizing you. I was just educating you. I know you are new so didn't know any better.

I had a friend with one ovary, has PCOD, was on the pill and used a condom and still got pregnant, even though the doctor told her children were most likely not a possibility.

It happens every day. No protection equals safe sex.

It's a scary world and 5 seconds of pleasure isn't worth ruining your life.

You sound like a smart girl, someone willing to listen, so I hope that you listen to us. We may be older now, but that's why we can give you this advice, we've been there, done that and learned from it. There's no reason why you have to make the same mistakes we did and learn the hard way. :)
