Actually dollar store pregnancy tests are pretty accurate. In fact a lot of them are even more sensitive than the more expensive brands. The reason it is a dollar is because it is not as convenient as some of the others because instead of just peeing straight on it, you have to pee in a cup, squeeze some urine in the little dropper it provides and drop it on the specimin area.. I did one when I was a week late and it was positive, and actually darker than some of the more expensive brands I tried
