I have heard something similar with your edding band... except if it goes in a circle it's a girl, and back and forth is a boy...

Pick up a key. If you've picked it up by the thinner end, you're having a girl. Picking it up by the bottom, rounder part means a boy is on the way. Did you pick it up by the middle? Then congratulations! You're having twins!

This isn't about gender, but when I was pregnant with my second child I had horrible heartburn - to the point that I always had a baggie with tums in my pocket. The "old wives" kept telling me my child would be born with a head full of hair. I ignored them - my first was bald as a billiard ball. To my surprise - when she was born she had a head full of thick, black hair!

Hmmm I have always had heartburn, but not (yet) with this one... maybe I'll get a baldy.. lol.

My wife, never had heartburn when she was pregnant. Our baby boy was born with a full set of hair. More hair then I have myself. Hee Hee, I guess there goes that myth. Lol
