Dear, please see your doctor. Your body is the only one you have - so take care of it. Listen to what it signals to you and keep a history ledger - it will benefit you and the doctor.
Also check the sites that were added to this thread to others as well, which will help you perhaps identify some of the symptoms. Good luck, and keep us posted.

    What does this mean
What does it mean when you have small blood clots, and small pieces of tissue when you have your period?

Eash of us is different, for instance, I was five months pg, and my blood test was still negative. The doctors can tell more by doing an exam since the cervix changes color during pregnancy too.
Also, by doing a simple ultrasound - reveals a lot - to include possible complications, so:

First and foremost, when in doubt - Always see your doctor.
Second, Take a EPT or HPT, even though they might be negative does not mean your not.

    Any ideas?
Anyone have any ideas about my situation? Sorry, I am just really nervous about it. I don't have medical insurance so I don't want to go in unless its something to worry about. Have been trying to conceive for almost 7 months now. I just would like to know what is wrong with me. Wish I had the money to go in when ever I wanted to, but I don't. This period only have 2 weeks between the last one an dthis one. And its just periodic bleeding. Usually when I go to the bathroom. I don't have hardly anything on the pads. And its not a lot when I go to the bathroom either. Any ideas?

I'm sorry to say, but it sounds almost like a miscarrige to me. You should try going to planned parenthood and see what they think. It might be implantation bleeding too though I kind of doubt it hun. The timing is a bit off for that. How have you been doing by the way? Haven't seen you a lot on here.

Just in case you had a miscarriage, I just found out about a drug that can be taken instead of having a D & C done - because if there is residue of old tissue it could cause an infection that could prevent you from getting pregnant later, so just this one time, see the doctor and get the drug, and make sure everything else is OK. You only have one body and only one reproductive organ which we women should always take good care of. I'm enlcosing the article about the drug here so that you can talk to someone about it, maybe you might get it without having to see the doctor, but you should also make certain that you are 100 percent not pregnant first. Wish you all the luck in the world, and please keep us posted.

    DEAR MYTH:

I just sent you the *.pdf documents that I mentioned in the PM. I sent them through yousendit.com and hope you don't erase them as spam.

If so, then you, and anyone else on this thread can download them for seven days from this date.

They are about the growth on a two-week basis, and also about the stages. I hope that you all benefit from them, and if you missed the seven days, please, anyone, let me know and I'll send them again, to one of my addresses first, so that I can post them here.

Lots of Love and Hopes to all of You,

Hi all. This is my first time posting. I have a very regular 28-31 day cycle. On day 23 of my cycle I had an episode of spotting and cramping that lasted for about half the day. I'm guessing that it was 9-10 days post ovulation due to my charting CM. It was very light red for a few hours then turned very pale brown mixed with CM. I did not even need a panty liner as it only showed after wiping on toilet paper. Then it completely stopped and has not come back. That has NEVER happened to me before. I'm on day 26 now. I did an HPT yeterday and one today. Both negative. The one this morning was tricky because if I stared hard enough I could pick up the faintest of "something" but no definite line there. I'm guessing that one was negative as well. My period is not due to start for two more days so I will test again at that point. My fiancé and I don't use any BC except withdrawel and there were a few times this month where it seemed that he pulled out a fraction of a second too late but I couldn't be sure. We are planning on trying to conceive soon and were only waiting for me to quit smoking and get an exam to make sure everything was OK! I do know that withdrawel practiced perfectly is not foolproof. In addition to the spotting episode, I usually have tender breasts from ovulation to period. By now they would be noticeably fuller and painful. This month I am 3-5 days from my expected period and they are just this morning showing the barest sign of tenderness. There is no fullness yet. This how they usually are at ovulation! Yesterday I was nauseous and headachy all day and damn near threw up while brushing my teeth. I went into a thrift store for awhile and the smell of the clothing caused me to gag which has never happened before. Today I feel a lot better. So... is it possible I am pregnant? Anybody ever followed this exact sequence and been pregnant?

Your symptoms and aversions to certain things do tend to indicate that you might be pregnant and your breasts don't need to be growing fast yet.
Check the following sites and see if any of the symptoms pertain to what you are going through.
Please remember though, NOTHING takes place of a real doctor's visit!

OK. So I haven't had a period since December 25th. That one lasted 15 days then was over(was sick at the time, mayeb why it was so long) Then, I had that strange episode of bleeding that happened only when I went to the bathroom and only lasted tops of 3 days. Didn't need a pad. That was about a week or two before expected period. It never came. So now, 8 weeks since the beginning of my last real period, I took a test and it came out negative. Any ideas?

Dear buggage, since this has been going on since at least November of last year, and you are very stressed about the whole affair, it would behove you to switch doctors or have a very serious talk and get some facts that you are satisfied with. Also include your partner in this as he might be a contributing factor in preventing you in reaching your goal through stress of having to perform and also keeping his male organs under undue heat or some type of medication, or even a work-related chemical, which will reduce sperm production. I cannot explain your excessive bleeding, and the doctor should have done so a long time ago. I really wish that I could help, but you are the only one who can do anything constructive about your situation at this time. Please take your body serious and take good care of it. Again, if you are not satisfied with the current physician, go to another one and seek assistance there..
Have you and your partner gone to an infertility specialist? This might be an option to look at and might also help you reach the goal without any more stress. I think you've gone through enough BS and you deserve some positive help and encouragement.
Check on some fertility information on some internet sites and also keep a history of illness for the both of you to include medications currently taking and start over without stressing yourself out. I can well understand your frustration and hope that you receive the help you want and deserve. Good luck and please keep us posted. I, for one, am crossing my fingers for you dear.

Thanks Cherry. I have been told that I shouldn't go into the infertility stuff until it has been at least a year. It has been... 7 months... I don't know. I am definitely going to go in for an exam soon though. This is so annoying. I use to have perfect timing until I gave birth to my son, and went on the shot.

    Chery
Just because the shot is good for some, it might not have been the right treatment for you. Unfortunately some physicians put us all in one barrel and expect things to work without conscientious follow-ups.
Each one of us is different. For instance, I was not supposed to have children because of my heart, but I managed to have one live-birth with three pregnancies and I also survived because I also had a cardiologist that was very good and I had to see my doctors each week. I carried my baby for 10 months because a previous IUD (the Dalcon Shield) ruined my uterus and damaged the nerves to tell the muscles to contract for normal birth and therefore they had to induce labor. If I had not told the doctors this beforehand, I might have lost my young lady who's going to be a mom herself in August now, and I might not still be alive. I do have cancer now, but still Stage I, and I'm a survivor - and I'm pretty sure you are also. And I plan on being around a long time to help raise my new grandchild with all the love it deserves so that my daughter can continue to study and excel in her present career.
It does depend on the caring and cooperation of the doctor and patient at the same time. So, do what you feel in your heart and don't let anyone discourage you. It's a fact, the world is rough and unfair, but we can't let it drag us down!

Again, you know we will certainly send our prayers and cross our fingers for you and your happiness.
