    Why?
And why should I be upset about something that I had no control over? Many women have gone into depression over such things. I have a family, and I chose not to put their wellbeing and happiness at risk for something I could have done nothing about, if indeed it was a miscariiage.

    Strange bleeding!
Hello all! I am 34 and have pretty regular periods, about 28 days on average.
I tend to have some bleeding (brown discharge) every cycle for 1-3 days about 5 days before my actual period begins. Is this normal? My husband and I have been trying for a baby for afew months now and I am worried there may be something wrong with me.
This month I have had the same early bleeding, but it has been very pink in colour as well as brown. Could this mean I might be pregnant? Am due period on Sunday.
Best Wishes to all of you out there!

Good, but make sure you inform her of any changes in temperature and/or color of discharges, OK? Good Luck.

If the discharge is only light pink, or clear or a little whitish, then it's OK. Whether women are pregnant or not, discharges of any other color are indications of something else to come, so just watch out for those changes and make sure your doctor knows about them. These most times are not emergencies, but yellowish, green, and brown with odors are indications of some types of infections. So let me stress again, please watch for signs of these and other things like cramping, pain when going to the bathroom, and itching - that's when you need to call and tell the doc. Check out the sites I posted on this thread and you'll be able to understand what to watch for and look forward to in good terms too. Good luck, hope everything stays fine for your, and keep us posted.

Dear if you are only 4 days late wait a while and take a test. But remember, first and foremost, when in doubt - always see your doctor!
Also, each pregnancy is different, no matter how many we go through.
Check out the following site, even if you've gone through it already, there might be some helpful hints..

Dear, I hope you did not take this wrong, when I said a loss is a loss, but you are right, one can over-react. My two losses were both boys and 5 months along, so I guess it hit me harder and I did need a mourning period. I just meant that things like this don't vanish, and you should not just shirk it, that's all. Wish you the best of health and that your hopes become reality.

    Not pregnant
Hello all, after posting about strange bleeding yesterday my period has started in the night! It is 2 days early and heavier/more painful than normal so am wondering if may be an early miscarriage.
    Anyway will keep trying!
I think this website is wonderful and will definitely come back and visit in the future!
Best of luck to you all - and congratulations Shellyb! I wish you all the happiness in the world. I do think your ex partner should know about your baby, it is better for the baby to know their father rather than not having one at all, even if things are painful for you right now. Good luck!

Hi Karen, sorry about your news, hope things work out next time. Please do see the doctor to make certain that no residual tissues are left to possibly cause problems for you. And you are right, she should tell the potential father, after all, he does have a responsibility. Good Luck next time..
