Ron Paul does make a lot of sense to someone who respects the constitution and individual liberty. Democrats make no sense because they believe the constitution is whatever five supreme court justices say it is; and Democrats couldn't care less about individual rights. Folks, you will never hear a mainstream Democrat pay homage to the right to life, liberty, and happiness. But Ron Paul and many Libertarians run their own ship aground when it comes to the role of the US in international affairs. His foreign policy considerations sound like something from the 1820's. There is no more important issue in this election than foreign policy and the safety of the American homeland. I have listened to the Republican debates and never heard him address this. He has always sounded like a left-winger to me.
