You're right, but actually Gonzales should have just said US attorneys serve at the president's pleasure, cited the relevant code and stuck with that. On the flip side though, congress has better things to do than go on an endless series of witch hunts.

I had brought it up as a single example of what a potential Evita Presidency could be reasonably expected to face . I could've just as easily said I can't wait to see here try to get a judicial candidate confirmed . If the Democrats do not gain super majority status then I expect some reciprocal minoirty delay tactics employed .

But to DC's point ;if Hillary becomes President then yes ; she will unleash the hounds .
