I'd say that 85% of the Jews in this country are Democrats. Jews are white. Jews aren't cheap. Some black people are Republicans (well not many), and I don't know what you have against pilots.
The only people you haven't offended are the Republicans. You'll fit right in.

PS> I'm NOT a Democrat. Democrats suck too.
Sorry, I don't mean to offend anyone. I am confused tomder said him,Bobby and you are both Jewish? I guess Tomder is, since he is tanned, he must travel a lot. Rich people get good tanned because they have money to go to nice beaches. I have nothing against pilots, they are hot.;) I guess he is a Jewish.Quote:

I thought you were black was a joke, because you called me chick.:D
I like Jews, they are a lot like Asians.:D
So you are not black?:D
I for one cannot stand hanging out at beaches . Oh I go ;but mostly to fish.
I said I was an honorary Jew . My religion is Roman Catholic.
Rich is a relative term. Describe rich and I'll tell you if I am.
This year I have travelled more than recently . I went to Alaska last month and earlier to Florida for family matters (wild horses couldn't get me there otherwise ) . When I was younger I had opportunities to do much more travel . I lived in Iran for a while when I was not in college. That gave me the opportunity to visit some European cities in transit and other brief stopovers in places like Beirut. My biggest regret from that time is in not making Israel one of my destinations . One of these days...
Oh and my tan?? I get tan on cloudy days . Lol . I do a lot of hiking and gardening so I spend a lot of time outdoors .
EditNah ;he pretty much looks like the cartoon image he uses.Quote:
(Edited) I almost think Excon is Black...
Let me put this in the proper context, what is being discussed here is income inequality- distribution of income. What will happen is a wage increase will redistribute some of the income so that the poor aren't as poor and the rich aren't as rich.Quote:

First, I don't run a bank. I work for one. HUGE difference.
Second, I am anything but rich. I'm, at best, middle class. "Barely getting by" is closer to my usual state of being.
Third, the majority of Jews are Dems. I have no idea why. Given our history and our general relationship with liberalism and socialism throughout history, it simply doesn't make any sense to me that so many Jews would choose to be Dems.

Hey... I'm just sayin'...
Maybe Jewish Americans are democratic because they have been through more racism in the past couple thousand years than anybody. I think it's more about equality than business. I think that's why most African Americans are democratic too. Maybe I'm wrong.
Well that is certainly the perception... that the Dems are better on race issues than the Republicans. However, is it the reality? I certainly don't think so. If I remember correctly, it was Southern DEMOCRATS that maintained segregation all the way into the 1960s, after a Republican named Lincoln ended slavery. I'm not saying that there weren't racist Republicans, because there were. But I'm saying that the Dems do not have a significantly better record on race issues than Reps.Quote:

As for why Jews in the past are more likely to have voted Democratic I think it is the appearance of a more economically viable representation to include all people. Personally, over the past two decades or so I've found it more challenging to support Democratic candidates, at least in the national elections, because many continue to overlook welfare abuse and have an openness towards permitting abortion in general. I'm Jewish, registered Democrat, but I do not vote according to party. In fact depending on the issues, I'll support a Democrat, Republican, or an Independent.

ET: Yeah I know Democrats weren't always about equality, Republicans did most of the work. It seems weird to me the Dems. Weren't at it from the beginning. I guess it depends on the person though, not their party.
Babram: That's good. It's nice to be able to support a Democrat, Republican, or Independent depending on the issues. Anyone who makes up their mind about something before they even hear the issue sounds pretty dumb to me. I'd support a Dem. Or a Rep. too if they suited me.
Most people support the rich people because they are the only ones advertising and yeah I love it how people say they are a democrat, republican, etc... Basically if you are saying that you are a democrat or w/e you support every dem or w/e. Why can't we all just be americans and then say I'm a "Guiliani supporter" or w/e
