    Washer drain to sump pump
Hello, My washing machine drain pipe drains into my sump pump and sets the pump off constantly, can I connect this drain into a different line and if so what do I need to do? Any suggestions would be great, thanks

You're not giving me much to go on. Do you have a floordrain close? A sink? A vertical stack that you could cut in a drainage tee, AAV vent, trap and washer standpipe? Any new washer drain that you plan on will involve some cement busting and/or drainage pipe cutting. Tell me what you have and I'll tell you what options you have. Regards, Tom

    Drain Pipe
Thanks for the response back, I spoke with a plumber about my situation and figured it out, the problem was my drain line connected to the sump pump didn't have a valve to prevent back flow of water and wore out the motor. Thanks anyway
