I have a delta 1400 series shower just recently for some reason the pressure coming out of the shower head seemed to like double what could be the problem? This only is in that one shower

Just recently my water pressure in the shower got really high to the point its uncomfortable. This only is happening in one shower could it be the cartridge? Is that what helps control the pressure? It is a delta 1400 series. What could I do to get it back to normal?

There's no faucet that can put out more pressure then is put into it. Replace your present shower head with a low flow shower head and see if that doesn't cut the pressure down. Good luck, Tom
