Little water in toilet bowl?
When I flush my toilet it goes down, but then water onlty comes up to the neck of bowl.I have tried plunging,it works a little better, but stilll losing water.also gurgles in tub with flushing.
Cont 'low toilet bowl water
I have just stood and watched toilet as it flushes so I can ask a more detailed question.
When I flush it all goes down quite well.again water in toilet bowl very low, therefore when I do flush it rises quite high, then drains, seems to drain with enough force, then it appears that bowl is going to fill properly,it fills then shortly thereafter it loses the water again, really no lapsed time, not slowly right away it loses.

Tried to snake toilet, could not get it in.BUT,seems like there is more water staying in bowl now for some reason or other. The vents outside were just cleaned in December, but checked they look okay, god knows we have enuf snow out there. Will sit on it a bit,if not our answer we will contact you again.Thanx

I haven't yet been able to obtain a toilet "auger",but husband tried a "snake",is this similar?I have poured salt and baking soda in all other drains, sink, tub, let it sit and added hot water,Also flushed some down toilet. The gurgling in tub and sink in bathroom still there with toilet flushing, the water comes to right height once and awhile, but then acts up again.I have searched other sites, and one said to pour a large pot of water into toilet bowl and if it flushes okay then it is not my vent.I poured a large pot of water into toilet bowl,it did nothing, wouldn't it have flushed from the rush of water being poured? So then I flushed toilet and water came up to rim,had to plunge down.. What do you think about that?Should I still try auger? Thanks Candace

My vent pipe does not terminate at or above my roof,it ends just under fascia, and ends with a 90 degree piping.
This is how it looks:it comes out on exterior wall,in around the washroom area, goes up about 3 feet, then turns and runs straight across along exterior wall about 10-12 feet, then goes back up towards roof and ends under fascia, with an end piece at 90 degrees.
|So when I drain tub water toilet gurgles as well, does not rise up or lower.Just lowers when washer draining. And will take few hours for toilet to return to norm after using washer.
Should I change my vent pipe to go straight up?It would be very difficult to rod pipe with all these twists and turns don't you think?
As well since my laundry room and bathroom is so far apart, would it not be best if I moved washer to bathroom?Do you thinkthe distance has anything to do with it?since washer pipe runs across house and then out,at least 30-40 feet or more to septic.

After doing three loads of laundry this afternoon,my toilet empties very slowly, this will happen for about an hour or so after washer use, along with the probs above continuing.
My plumbing dilemma cont'...
Things are pretty much same here.Use washer toilet gurgles, empty tub toilet gurgles.Toilet bowl water won't stya at proper height.Bought toilet auger, augered toilet couple times, nothing.Poured CLR septic in drains and toilet, nothing, plunged still same.Purchased wax ring seal, and brother coming today to change and check for blockage there.Bought one cheater vent,he will also do that today at some point.
Didn't pour water down vent because I cant,my venting is very funky,I would have to cut top off,and it comes out of house alongside of exterior wall twisting and turning two times, before going straight up and doesn't pass fascia and soffit ends just under lip of roof at a 90 degree angle.
So if it isn't any of this, what would you suggest? Please help!
