    Yes in the drywall... I measured and there is a nail pop every 16 inches.

    Something go lost here. You ask a question about nail pops.
    If you have nail pops every 16" the dry waller miss the center of the stud and put a nail in the edge of the stud. Changes in humidity is now pushing the nails out. Pull the nails and put another nail or screw about 3/4" to either the left or right. You can tell when you hit the stud by the resistance. Screws are better.

    Thanks everyone... I have learned many valuable lessons in this thread.

    I should have posted here before hiring someone. It is almost as if I needed to 'know' remodel/construction to make sure the 'professional' I hired followed all the details that you all have posted.
