HI Tom.
By TK I assume you mean me
Nope..
Someone (Dennaw I think) piggy back onto this old thread. Someone moved Dennaw's post to a new thread but didn't move my reply.

I guess that would have been me. Sorry! I try to clean up the page but it sometimes gets away from me. It wasn't done intentionally. I'll watch it closer from now on. Regards, Tom
Oh God I love the Internet.
I found a post written 7 years ago by someone I don't know and might know that I even exist, and I solve my problem in 15 min.
Thanks a lot!
Serge
Hi Serge and welcome to The Plumbing Page at AskMeHelpDesk.com It doesn't matter how you got it fixed we're just glad you did and thanks for the update. Tom
Oh I meant that your original answer from 2005 fixed my problem:
Take your finger,(UGH!) and run it around the inside of the opening. Over the years minerals build up and cut down on the syphon (flush) action. If it is rough or you feel build up, take a table knife and put a bend in it to get around the curve in the bowl and chip and scrap it clear.
Thanks a lot. It's very helpful!
I love to do-it-myself but sometime need a bit of help. (Spefifically when the hardware look different from where I grew up: We don't have this flush hole in Europe)
Serge
Yeah! That's one a lot of repair plumbers miss. What country are you from? They use a lot of gravity toilets in Europe. Good luck, TomQuote:
