I'm sorry but that set up won't fly either. All codes mandate that you can not discharge a major fixture, such as a toilet past a unvented minor one, (such as your vanities). You have three options,
1. Run a vent out the roof or revent back to a existing dry roof vent in the attic.
2. Revent into a fixtures dry vent at least 6" above the flood rim of that fixtures. **OR**
3. Install a AAV,( air admittance vent) but out where it can be serviced and not behind a wall.
Either way you're going to hafta go up instead of down. Good luck, Tom

Tom, yes my drain is vented through the roof. But at this point I'm washing my hands like Pilate because I'm too confused about how my drain can go "up" to a vent and still go "down" to the main drain. Hope I don't dream about this! Glad you are back and well, your input is always valued. Brian

Look at it this way. Your lavatory drains into a trap and into a sanitary tee in the wall. From the tee down 6the discharge goes into the drain line and into the main.
However, from the tee up through the roof the pipe's dry and turns into the vent. So you have one pipe doing two functions, drain and vent. Things any clearer now? Cheers, Tom
