Hi Jon... ok.. last thing.. Just install that floor drain fitting at centerline and plumb to straighten out pitch by using 45 degree fitting to p-trap of floor drain (will make floor drain level front to back... then you can tilt p-trap to level floor drain side to side) AND THERE... floor drain is level to floor.

Tom and Jon... what I was suggesting is that after the wye fitting is installed at a slight pitch off the main line he can square up that pitch with a 45 degree elbow so floor drain becomes level to floor... it is such a short run off the main I did not want jon to just try to pick up floor drain without using the 45 to square/plumb the pitched drain line... This leaves short run pitched but allows jon to level that floor drain... shower drain needs to be the same way in order to square/plumb the shower strainer assembly.
What Tom is also saying here Jon is that for the floor drain you want to leave the drain 1/2" to 3/4" of an inch below the finished floor and PITCH that floor down to drain so any water will fall into the drain line naturally. YUP... that is right.. I did not address that. Good practice though.
