How to fix a leaky kohler faucet?
I have a single handle kohler shower faucet that is leaking. I installed a new mixer cap kit,but it is still leaking. What else might cause this to leak, and how do I fix it?I flushed it as you recommended and it still leaks. I do not know the exact model #,but it is similar to the K-T10584-4P,and uses the same 1/2" pressure balancing valve as diagramed on the kohler web site.

We need a model number before we can help. But did you turn the water back on when you had the valve apart to flush out the supplies and open valve body. If not then do it and get back to me. Regards, Tom
