    Physics Question
    The gravitational force of attraction between two students sitting at their desks in physics class is 2.33 10-8 N. If one student has a mass of 47.0 kg and the other student has a mass of 57.0 kg, how far apart are the students sitting?

    Please show step by step works, thanks

    this is your equation
    Fg = G{m1 m2}/{r^2}

    plug in the things that you know.
    Fg=2.33e-8
    G=6.67e-11
    m1=47
    m2=57
    r=?

    make the equation equal to r

    r^2=G{m1 m2}/{Fg}

    r^2=(6.67e-11*47*57)/2.33e-8

    r^2=7.67

    take the square root of that number

    r=2.77

    the distance is 2.77m
