How many times did usa land on the moon?
Im sick of this conspiracy crap I know its old.

But its something nobody will ever know.

What I'm curious too is how many times did we land on the moon?

Is our flag still up there?

I mean with today's technology it should be more then possible to land on the moon if by any chance it wasn't a hoax..

I'm sure nasa would have did another update on the moon landing.

Does anybody know how many times after niel armstrong did we land on the moon ?

    Americans were there 6 times.

The conspiracy theorists are nuts. There's lots to read about it, here's just one:

First, there's no reason to believe wed need to go back, been there, done that. What would the driving force be? Get more samples? To shut up the disbelievers? Really??

China and india are looking to go there next, with india having an inside tract right now... look for it in the next 10 years.

What do you mean recent? It's been almost 35 years since we've been there.

OK... six seconds with a search engine gives.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon_la..._moon_landings

Scroll down and check out the dates.

Your use of the word "recent" was confusing... I mean if you think 1972 is recent, well, that's a pretty liberal use of the word, unless you are on geological time... hi-fi 8 tracks are really "recent" technology, but OK...

So when he said it was 35 years ago he might have thought, mistakenly, that you would understand this was the first landing... you know, having some historical perspective... you know?

When I read the word "recent" I thought you had absolutely no clue as to whether the US had been back ten or twenty years ago.

Kp points to a good link.

We went to the moon twice in 1969, twice in 1971 and twice in 1972.

Regarding the "conspiracy theory", did you check that link? Do you still wonder if we were not there?

My questions surround the Van Allen Belt, which supposedly you would need a 6foot thick led encasement to survive. Two hundred and fifty thousand miles... that's a long way to actually go, land, then liftoff and travel back to.

Remember, Occham's Razor, All things being equal, the most simple explanation is probably the correct explanation.

To everyone who says, been there done that, remember... humans are a creature of habit and domination. Why after almost forty years never revisit?

We've been there and done other things so many times, why when it comes to the moon, we say... "Been there done that."

Google "Did we landed on the moon by Fox TV" this shows compelling evidence to at least get you to think about it.

I think it's simpler to have gone there than to think up all this conspiracy rubbish. Eat that Occam.

    Hmmm...

I'm a scientist by training, a pessimist by fault, and irish by blood (just sounded like it belonged there, no real relevence).

But I fail to see how constructing and maintaining an elaborate hoax is a simpler solution.

Eh. I don't know. I suppose at this point I shouldn't be surprised by what any govt is capable of.

However, I have a hard time believing the passion of a man like buzz aldrin was really just the fear of a coward of being exposed.

For those that hound the why haven't we been back question, well... did you elect a government representative that pushed for it? Interest in funding it decreased. Done. Simple economics.

How about that as the simplest answer? Money.
