    Personal Loans w/ Bad Credit
    Hello all. Happy Holidays.

I am not trying to create a sob story, however, I realize if anyone can or will help I need to briefly describe my situation.

In a nut shell. I am one of the millions who has managed to find myself in the black hole of debt.

A couple of years ago, I had myself back on track to get my finances in order. I ended up with a domestic violence situation. I have finally left the situation and have been away from the individual that caused me much pain physically, emotionally and financially.

Now that I am on my own again, I am struggling to make ends meet. I am in a situation were I cannot meet the demands of my necessities (bills, rent). I have been to several organizations (Social Services, Domestic Violence Organizations) and I am literally being told I do not qualify for anything since I do not have children.

Since my credit score from the 3 major reporting agencies falls between 550 and 650 all lenders I have contacted have denied me for any amount of money. The irony, every high interest rate credit card company wants to give me credit cards. I do not want credit cards. I am trying to get rid of old debt and keep the new necessary debt under control.

I am looking for anywhere between $7500 and $10000, at this point, interest rates are not a main concern of mine. I am looking to pay off some debt and current bills so I can financially get beack on track and avoid having to bounce checks and take out payday loans which will not help.

I am looking to pay my rent for the next 3 months, as well as my current bills (utilities, car, insurance) and clear up small debts from past credit cards to boost my credit rating.

At this point I realize I may need to go through private lenders or non profit lending organizations. I do no thave a problem with this nor do I have a problem if my interest rates are higher than what would be considered normal.

I really have no idea what else I can do. I know that if I do not have something done by the very near future I am in some serious trouble paying bills.

Family is not an option to financially help me, they are well off but greedy.

I am not looking for money to spend on luxury, I am looking for money to take care of necessity.

If anyone needs further details on my situation, please feel free to pm me. I realize I have not given every detail, I summarized.

I look forward to suggestions or avenues of help I may not have already tapped into.

Thank you in advance for all responses.

Well, for starters, would one of your "well-off but greedy" family members allow you to live with them for six months or so-for a small amount of room & board, so that you can save on rent and utilities and pay off a few debts?

Would they (wealthy but greedy family) consider a loan to you at a lower rate than your higher credit cards--but for which you must have a repayment plan which includes specifics on how and when you will be able to repay?

How many jobs do you have? Have you considered renting out a room at your place? Have you turned off cable TV, off the DSL high speed computer connections? Do you pack your own lunch, never eat out or go to the movies? Take public transportation instead of driving a car? Not buy any new clothes, or magazines or books?

If you have too much debt, then to get out of debt, you have to earn more, spend less and pay off the debt.

If you cannot pay off the debt you currently have, then you certainly don't want another debt.

Never borrow money trying to get out of debt. You already owe too much now.

First don't pay anything or anybody except what has to be paid
    1. rent
    2 utilities
    3 food
4 transportation if you need it

Then work out a budget for the rest of the money. Get rid of cable TV, sorry but internet if you pay for it or go with a 10 dollar a month dial up.
But then do you need a telephone for sure. Get the idea, until you are caught up, dump any payemnt.

What is the cost of your rent, perhaps a cheaper place to live.

But with what money is left after the have to pay, you start paying that 5 ro 10 dollars a month to keep them from sueing you.

You find a second job ( those frys have to be cooked by someone)
