Okay so this site is called Ask Me Help Desk but your not allowed to get Home work HELP.
What's the point of that?
We do HELP with homework, but we will NOT do all the work for the poster.
Please refer to the stickies on ALL the homework help boards: https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/other-...board-b-u.html
Ohh I see..
Someone ocne told me they don't do homework help at all.
Well when the member simply does a copy and paste of their homework with ZERO attempt at answering the question, we get slightly miffed, to say the least.
That makes sense.
What if they don't know it at all?
Then they need to ask their teachers.
Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose of a help site? Like.. If you don't understand something you ask for help.
It seems pointless to wait a long long time to ask your teacher who might even yell at you for not doing your assignment.
Just saying. :)

I do not object to helping a person search for the answer. I do object to someone TELLING me that they need the answer asap. Like not a request, just a demand. Where has politeness gone? I can find many things online and will help in that way and sometimes I will even give a hint to the right direction, but no, I generally do not give the answer. Then it becomes my homework and I should get the grade. But there was one person who stated she could absolutely not understand what was asked and what do you do then? How did that person even make it into college was my wonderment.
My opinion, it doesn't matter who is giving the help, its just homework, not everyone can understand everything.
I saw a request just last week from someone wanting one of us to do her whole case study! Gave us the link for the reading assignment and everything.
I help, if they show that they are trying to understand the concept (and I know anything about the subject.) Most just want someone to do the work for them.
Well something like that is deffinatly not acceptable to me lol.
I can reason with one question but if it's the whole assignment most likely I won't help.
Just Google it. There's lots of sites out there that give away answers, and lots more forum sites, probably even some homework ones haha.
Just don't 'miff' anyone on those sites. Lol
I like to lead the person to the answer so they know how they should approach it when the get another question (which they will) again.
"If you give a man a fish he eats for one day, teach him to fish and he eats everyday."
Kind of like that but with equations!
You aren't quite following the rationale here. Lets look at these two questions:
1) I have an assignment to create a database in Access that will run a Video Rental store. Can you tell me how to do that?
2) I have an assignment to create a database in Access that will run a Video Rental store. I have setup tables for Customer, Videos and Rentals. How do I create a form that shows all rentals for a customer?
Do you see the difference? In 1) the poster is asking us to do their asignment for them. In 2) the poster has shown they have started doing the work, but hit a stumbling block they need help with. Guess which one gets an answer?
The fact is that homework assignments are generally not handed out out of the blue. They reflect something studied IN the class. Therefore, the poster should have at least some knowledge of what they need to do. But when someone simply copies and pastes the assignment question into a post, we tend to ignore thoses since they are wanting us to do their work for them.
So you find this unacceptable?
https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/ecolog...gy-138382.html
No I would find that acceptable. It shows you are trying to reason out the answer.
Oh okay that makes sense haha :d
Yea I just thought Homework wasn't allowed her at all,
Here is an example of an unacceptable post with regards homework: https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/physic...aw-138412.html
Hahahhahahah yea xD
Yeah I hate it when someone wants you to pick out an ABC list.
Aij I gave your question a go, it's been a while since I did environmental biology though.
Hey, that gives me a great idea! Create a site, similar to this sight, where you do kiddies homework for them... as long as they have mom and dad's credit card. Yea, that's it! I'll call it ASK ME HOMEWORK DESK!
Lmao xD
Sick scammer.
Remember that number you call to have your essays done for you?
Yes but, I will use text books from the early 1900's that are in the public domain. Scan them to my hard drive then just copy and paste for... oh... $14.94 per assignment. I have one right here right now. It is copyright 1889. It's about plumbing. There is a picture of an outhouse on the cover. This is going to be my ticket to riches!
You joke but these sites actually exist. You tell them your essay title and the points you want covered and they write it for you - for a price. Don't think I could ever trust someone else's work to be good enough but some people must do it or they wouldn't exist.
Wow that really exists? Haha that's amazingly stupid.
No, I'm amazingly stupid for thinking that I thought of it first. Gosh! There is nothing new left in the universe.
I know!
Like Spoons, Obviously I invented them first.
You invented spoons? I thought Wilfred Eldridge Spoontowski did. Humm, were you just kidding?
Would I lie to you :-D ?
I have an essay here that said Spoontowski did. It was written for me for twenty quid by a machine and a PhD student in metalwork and related histories.
They can't get arrested for those services?
No, you just do it from Grand Cayman or some other place with complete lawlessness.
There is no law against writing an essay or selling it. The violation comes when the student breaks the schools policy. Then they face a failing grade or expulsion. They'll never make supreme court justice, either.

Thank you for the clarification by the eminent xAjikanx!
Me personally, I have a Ph.D in putting together leather wallets using the long, thin strips of plastic for the weave. You know the kind that I mean - like what we used to make at camp in the Summer. My minor was the importance of the use of skill sticks in everyday living.
I have been requested on numerous occasions to give lectures on the intricacies and importance of this science that is also an art, concerning wallet making.
