    Alty!
I am glad your going to the doctor and you better not come back. Meaning he better admit you and get you well. Run every test needed. We know if you come up MIA its for good reason. You worry about you and don't worry about us. We will be here when you come back to fill us all in.

In my thoughts and big hugs.

I would just like to point out that Alty had BETTER not go MIA. She has my phone number, TWO of my email addresses, my Facebook, and my physical address. If she can't contact me herself, her hubby had BETTER do it.

Then I can at least keep everyone informed!

Besides--if you don't tell your "sister" what's up, she gets to beat you up. And NOT in the fun way!

Hubby has strict orders to email you, J and M if I end up in the hospital. This way I cover a few time zones. ;)

He's really nervous about all of this. He usually never calls me from work, it's just not something we do. This last week he calls during every break at work. It's getting a bit annoying. I just pick up the phone and say "Yes, I'm still alive. No, I'm not planning on dying today and no, there's no change".

I understand that he's worried but it's making me more worried. :(

He even bought me chocolates the other day. He's got to stop this. ;)

He loaded the dishwasher and emptied it yesterday.

I prefer chocolates to flowers, they taste better. :)

Still no call from my doctor.

No news is good news?

Okay, so clean dishes (I hope he ran the dishwasher before he emptied it. We won't go into well-meaning but forgetful husbands. :) ) and chocolates are better than flowers.

It's still early in the day. :)

He did run it and then empty it. I think he even refilled it and ran it again.

Today he's doing some grocery shopping, there may be chocolate on the list. :)

Good to hear your feeling OK. I was wondering. I check in and saw it was quiet. I was thinking the doctor admitted you.

I am well right now. I am the dumping station for kids every weekend. The little girl across the road is here again and her mother just leaves. Doesn't tell me and no phone number where she is going. Nice. Hope there is no emergency. Last weekend she was here 30 hours.

This is the last time I am going to say how worried I am. Since you can't hear me, you can't hear the fear in my voice.

I do want to say that I'm truly hoping this health care bill does not pass tomorrow, or we will be in the same boat as you Alty.

At this point, ANY health care is better than what I currently have. I haven't had a basic check-up since I was 8. I didn't have my first pap smear until I became homeless. As far I know, I don't have any health problems, but I would have no way of knowing.

I have bad hips. Don't KNOW what's wrong with them. I SUSPECT it's arthritis, but that would require a doctor's visit to confirm.

I'm afraid that if it passes I will have to go back to school for another career. I just don't know what I would do?

Heath, it's my understanding that you will still have to pay for this health care.

Health care should be mandated by the state, not the nation.

But if you don't buy into it, you will be fined. So you have to pay either way.

I don't qualify for state health care. Child 19 and under qualify based on income. The same with seniors 65 and over. Between those ages, you have to either have a documented disability that requires frequent medical care, or have a child under 19 years old.

Since I haven't been stupid enough to have a kid I don't want, I don't qualify for health care. The only way to find out if you have a disability is to go to a doctor, which requires health care.
