I like the vacuum lines, so I guess I'm a little anal about that... but other than that, its just me and my cat in 1100 square feet... It doesn't get dirty at all.

I think there should be a rule, after three pages you can post whatever seems relevant to the flow of conversation, especially when you get into theological and opinion based debates.

Not so much if someone asks a technical question like how does PCR work? Not that I could see that going in more than three posts... Unless a lot of scientists were logged on and buzzed on cheap coffee.

Mafia - Greetings and salutations, welcome to HC's little coffee corner. I'm seriously considering starting the support group thread, I think that everyone on this site has been guilty at least once. I'd hate to think it's only me.

Yes, it would be very cruel. Considering the fact that I am currently without a hunky Canadian (or hunky anything, for that matter)... Rather, I'm in my sandbox refusing to play the game anymore! :) And all that entails... :)

As soon as I got my coffee threw drive threw I started back to work. What happens.. Yes another person cuts me off. Me being in uniform I had to be cool. Took a swig of my fresh coffee then thought about it. I desisted to tell this person to watch what she was doing. At the lights I got out stopped... then leaned back into my car and grabbed my coffee took a swig and walked to her window. I said please watch what you doing and went my marry way.. The reason there ISN'T such a rule is that those of us who moderate have to read all of that stuff, and keep it from getting nasty, and if it gets too far off topic, then it's a different thread entirely anyway.

Keeping a thread on track is important, especially for anyone coming to read the thread long after people have stopped posting, or if the original poster has to keep reading through EVERYTHING to get to an answer posted after the off-topic stuff.

I understand where you're coming from, but think about it from the OP's point of view, or from the moderators' :)

Coffee is the one common bond that ties us all together... its great to be a part of such a miracle... the miracle of caffeine. It's a beautiful thing.

I actually just buy flavored beans, from a company called Berres Brothers. You can find them online. Soooooo many great flavors. I am a coffee snob--I spend a couple hundred dollars on coffee every 5 months or so.

It takes one to know one! I buy my beans online too! And only from one roaster - Green Mountain Coffee Company in Vermont. Their coffee is simply divine.

People say "want some coffee" and I ask what kind... that's bad...

I'm on the regular coffee club rotation... i.e. they send me my favorite coffee once a month without me even asking for it... yeah... it comes to about $14 for one pound with S&H... Crazy...

That's not including all the extra Starbucks runs that I make every day... Course, I could be spending SO much more if I was charged based on my actual consumption. It pays being a regular customer! ;)

I used to get coffee at the stands in Seattle all the time.

Then I realized how much money I was spending on that.

So... all that money I don't spend on coffee every month is now in my slush fund budget, and I use it for something more permanent. A lot of times, I stick it in the "house" fund, since I think about it when I go to buy coffee---what do I want more? A house of my own, or a shot of espresso.

The house wins almost every time.

I just needone more cup... please, just one more...
