Feeling great my friend! Yesterday I was in one of those weepy moods. So are you okay? You need a vacation :)

I'm okay. I've had a pseudo vacation. Haven't had to work since last Thursday night. I'll go back tomorrow night.

There is a big difference between 'rest' and 'sleep.' :)

I'm in no way normal Kity! Just ask my kids! My 16 year old told me that just this morning on her way out the door to school.

being normal is overrated and boring. I spent years trying to be normal, almost killed myself over it. It's so much better, happier, and easier to be yourself and avoid 'normal' people at all costs ^_^

I love it when my kids tell me I'm not normal. It's a compliment in this house. :)

Mine never say I'm mean, LOL... quite the opposite actually. I'm the "weird Mom," or the "crazy Mom," I've even been called the "nerdy Mom," But all of their friends relate to me and I guess that's why my house is always full of kids... Ugh, maybe I should start being mean so I can get some peace and quiet!

My daughter's friends used to think that I was the "cool Mom" because my daughter and I would study together when I was in nursing school. They didn't have mothers who actually studied too!

We have a sign over the threshold of our house. It says, and I quote "the Looney Bin. We're a bit looney here, odd things tend to occur here...Abnormality is the normality at this locality!"

I should wear a sign.:eek: I always had a housefull too J. It's way to quiet now.. but the grandchildren vist and one stays a lot with us so he makes it not so quiet.:)

Many days I could actually deal with more quiet. Some of the boys that visit here are way out there loud and hyper! Good thing the weather is nice now, I can make them stay outside all day instead of playing video games in my living room.
