I LOVE the "Incarnations of Immortality".
Never been a Pratchett fan, though. See my previous post on not having taste ;)
I put it on my list.
First I am going to check out Fforde. Any recommendations for my first?
Got it. Thanks! Going to Coles tomorrow at lunch! I'm excited. It's been a while since I started a book or series that I haven't already read!
OK, I'll check it out!
The Fraternity of the Stone - David Morrell
Clive Cussler, I have all his books in hard back.
inauthor:Clive inauthor:Cussler - Google Search
Fooey, I missed the sci-fi discussion. Let me jump in late:
Spider Robinson. He's one of the funniest authors around, and can tell a story at the same time.
Alan Dean Foster, if you can avoid his Star Wars juveniles.
David Weber's fantasy series are better than his sci-fi.
David Drake, Jacueline Carey, Issac Asimov, Anne McCaffrey's been mentioned, and my favorite preacher - Robert A. Heinlein.
I really liked the 'Into the Gap' series from Donaldson.
Robert Aspirin with Esther Friesner, E.Godz, really catchy, short novel.
Piers Anthony and Reberto Fuentes,Dead Morn.
Piers Anthony and Robert Kornwise,Through the Ice.
Ken Hood,Demon Rider
Jack McDevitt, he wrote a few,Eternity Road(post apocalypse)And Ancient Shores(good ideas for that one)
