Its funny you should bring these up sneezy , here in Oz the Wallabies are a protected species where as in a lot of areas Kangaroos are a pest , they even have culling programs in some places.

I have eaten Kangaroo yes , it's a very Rich Red meat. They also sell it as pet food , however some dogs find it too rich and messes with there internals.

There's good and bad everywhere mate... I was lucky enough to grow up and still live in one of the nicer places in Australia.

    Okay Sneezy a Haiku for you;

    Now it is silent
    Finally I fall asleep
    Beep Beep Beep. Shoot me!

    And for us coffee lovers;

    Eyes show weariness
The curse of the light sleeper
    Coffee fills the void

By the way, aren't wallabies pretty much small kangaroos?

    Well. Morning all.

The birds are chirping, the sun is shining, the weather's blisteringly cold for the end of March... but it's OK.

Off to work + classes + midterm.

I'll be back... one step closer to being a free man.

    Have a wonderful mornin.

    Good Morning everyone,

The birds aren't chirping yet, except for my cockatiel Marty. It's actually a mild day.

My son is sick today so he's staying home from school. Looks like I'm going to need extra

    Coffee today.

I have breaking news from atl.

... the sbucks near my school was closed this morning due to some water pipe issue. In panic, I tried to run to the next closest coffee shop, but I didn't have time this morning.

Now I am @ work. No coffee. There's coffee in the lab lounge... but it tastes like dirt.

... I am running on something like 20 hours of sleep for the past 7 - 8 days, and no coffee means someone's going to get hurt.

    Reowr.

Sneezy - Take a deep breath. In, out, in, out (the breathing, nothing else!)

Now, go to your happy place. Is there another Starbucks nearby?

I feel for you sweetie. Will it make you feel better if I have an extra cup for you?

    Where is everyone?

Wakey, wakey, rise and shine. It's a brand new day.

I'm up! I'm up! Rah... Mornings... nasty things.

Sneezy - like the haiku! When you going to write me one? :D

Well, it's a new morning and a new beautiful day... and all I want to do is go back to bed...

    Bed, ah, what's that?

My dog had another 2 hour long barking fit last night. Started at around 1am and

Lasted until 3am. Nothing I said or did would convince him to be quiet. Once again, I am

Exhausted and he is napping by my feet. Nudge, nudge, Bark, Bark. How do you like it?
  • Mar 25, 2008, 07:56 AM
    HistorianChick
Awww... I'm sorry Alty! You nudge and bark at him all your little heart desires!

I'm inhaling the coffee this morning. Trying to balance work, family, friends, this crazy ex, and everything is just getting wobbly lately! Lol... You know, the key is balance - as long as we're balancing everything, we're going to do fine.

A good friend of mine asked me "how are you doing" yesterday. He is the kind of friend that really wants to know... so I answered! Basically, I said that lately I've been feeling like I'm trying to juggle balls while balancing plates on my head while trying to walk the tightrope riding a unicycle. As long as I keep balancing, I'm good.

Does that make any sense to anyone! Lol... I'm being deep lately... sorry, guys!

    More coffee please!

HChicky, you be as deep as you want to be, we don't mind. As for the juggling act, maybe it's time to hand something over to someone else.:)

Synnen - I'm pulling back your covers. Don't mess with me, I've got a water gun. Muahahahah.:D

Oh, you remind me of my Mom... she once threw a bag of frozen peas in the bed when I refused to get up... RAH! That was awful!

Thanks, Alty... I'm deep every once in a while :D

    Synn! UP! :D

LOL! Sadly, in my case its only a metaphor... although, one of these days, I may give into my secret desire to become a tightrope walker... it's the cool outfits that get me :D

My mom used to come into our room in the morning and start singing the Captain Kangaroo theme song to us to wake us up.

The frozen peas thing is gooooood though. I'm going to have to remember that.

My mom had these relatively long nails... well trimmed + well manicured... and she would make a claw-like hand, and then stab the bottom of my feet.. . She says it's out of love... I beg to differ.

Wow, now they're writing poetry about you. HChicky, I think you're going to have to

Choose one. Or you could have the boyfriend in atl and the one in West Seneca. Hmm, if

You play your cards right they'll never know that you are two timing. Don't worry, I won't

    Tell them.:D
