I once complained on some thread (I think it was my "first date" thread) where I usually end up spending $100 - $150 on a date... and westy brought up that he took a girl out to tacos + pool...

I guess the tacos + pool works, as westy's girl went out on 4 dates with him and told him she loved him.

... meanwhile, my date planned lunch... on April 2.. . and she did this on march 12.

I'm not sure which I'd enjoy more - actually, I'd enjoy each completely equally. Dinner, wine, and dancing, or pool, JD and coke, and tacos...

A nice balance of both...

I tell you boys, I'm complex... just as comfortable in strappy sandals and a little black dress as I am in jeans and a hoodie! ;)

I came into work today thinking it was going to be an easy day... I had an assay to run but my primary antibody came in over the weekend and was left outside (it was supposed to be in the freezer)... so I figured, OK... nothing to do... go home, go apartment hunting... etc.

Nope. Came in. got a list of things to do... apparently, the tech that got fired last week just created mayhem (reason he got fired) and we're backlogged. I don't think I'm even getting out of here by 6pm. Damn him.

Afternoon all. I see that all is going well in the single's bar, I mean coffee shop. :D

I just got up. The kids don't have school today so Hubby and I stayed up late last night, I got to sleep in, which is good. I indulged in a bit too much wine last night. Dry mouth, YUCK!

It looks like us girls have tons in common. On a day to day basis I'm a comfy clothes kind of girl, but when we go somewhere fancy, watch out, I can be a hotty when I want to, even at 37 years old.;)

I just need to loose a bit of weight right now. As you all know I had a very terrible miscarriage 2 years ago, lost the baby at 3 months, but didn't loose the weight I gained, still haven't. I also have a thyroid problem, so it's hard to loose that weight. Going to do it this year if it kills me, I want to be able to wear my short, shorts in the summer. Oh, and it's time to bring the bikini out of hiding too. Hip hop abs, here I come.:)

Alty, after all the kids I have a little tummy, it kills my back to do sit ups, so I found Yoga to really help. And nice long walks, we have great lush forrests here so I get to endulge in that any time I want to. The kids go more often thatn me, it kind of takes a bit to get me to do anything other than what is on my plate right now, but when I do go, IT FEELS LIKE HEAVEN! Move more than you eat and make a conscious effort, I think it is the hardest simple thing I have ever done! LOL
I too love casual, but when we get pretty, LOOK OUT!

I am going to call nana, she just has to have some so I don't have to drive 10 minutes to get some!

Ah, memories, I used to have rubber band fights with one of my fellow employees, way back when I was employed. We had lots of fun, even got the manager to join in a few times, he got his butt kicked every time. Hee, hee, love those memories.

How do you get sour milk out of my cars carpet? Alty? I have done everything, including leaving coffee grounds in there for over 24 hours at a time, and more than once I have done it... HELP ME!

If people annoy you, you just cut up a piece of paper as tiny as you can and put it in their drink when they aren't looking, then watch what they do when they take a drink... P.S. this works best in soda cans... LMAO

LOL! Niiiiice Starty! Wow... That's wicked! I like it! :D

Starty - Try a bubbly clear soda. Like Soda water. No sugar added. The bubbles will work the stain out, pour it on and let it sit for around five minutes, then gently dab it up, repeat as necessary. Afterwards try putting a bit of watered down vinegar on it, that will help get rid of the smell. My daughter once left her milk filled sippy cup in the car for
4 weeks, it exploded and YUCK! I couldn't find the source of the smell, the cup had rolled under the seat and wasn't visible. I had to take the seat out, and almost vomited, that smell was rotten. The soda water and vinegar did the trick. Try it and let me know.

I will try it tomorrow, this stain and stench has been a part of our life for over a year and nothing has worked! Thank you

Synn, I got so mad on a thread yesterday that I actually told a guy, that admits that he's cheated on his wife with over 50 women in the last 5 years, to cut of his willy.
