Well, a flambeau is a torch. And I can't come up with anything in my brain that works with that ST in the beginning.

The St starting the word for relative of a flambeau comes from.

Hey HChicky, I didn't expect to talk to you again today, what a pleasant surprise. I love sudoku as well, but I find that the crosswords keep my brain from going to mush. After all, I'm a stay at home mom, the only mental stimulation I get is talking to a 9 and 5 year old, oh and my husband who can't spell and has trouble remembering my name (kidding).
