    And hide the cereal!

When Sydney broke her arm she had to get 3 new casts. Every time they took it off they discovered it hadn't completely healed and a new one would be put on.

She wasn't quite 2 and it was a cast that you could get wet (thank God).

Every time they took off the cast we'd find the most unusual things inside. Cheerios, a barbie shoe, plastic play coins (which left an indent for around a week afterwards), and more.

Chuck, don't go pushing cheerios into your cast, it's not good and starts to smell after around 3 days. ;)

Eww. That's funny. I baby sat a boy when I was younger with a broken leg. And man that thing stunk. Come to find out there was peas, carrots, broccoli, all the veggies he told his mom he ate!

Chuck, don't hide your veggies in the cast! ;)

Me too WG, but not for veggies or cereal.

Hubby took us out for a nice dinner yesterday. I had one of the best steaks I've ever eaten. It was cooked to perfection, seasoned to perfection, it was, in short, perfection! :)

I was so stuffed last night, now I'm wishing there were leftovers.

Tummy grumbling. Mamma wants meat! :)

We just ate food from McDonald's. I have some leftover lettuce and tomato pieces I could stuff down inside Fr_Chuck's cast.

WG, you should be eating your tomatoes and lettuce. Naughty girl. Veggies are good for you. Have you had a V8 today? ;)

And how would "cooked to perfection" be to you?

Medium rare. I like it a bit bloody. :)

Me too. Except for a Filet Mignon, I like it rare.

I was raised on Middle Eastern food. We have a raw beef dish, called Kibbee Naya. I have the taste for raw beef.

Cold, red, bloody, raw. With salt and pepper with a raw onion. MMMMM...

I know e-coli... but I take my chances from time to time.

Isn't it tough when it's burnt that much? I always tell the server just to lead it past the fire on the way out.

The steak I had last night was Filet Mignon. It was cooked a bit more then I'd usually like, but it was still perfection. It melted in my mouth it was that tender. Hubby had the prime rib, pretty much rare. It was good too.

I can't do raw, I'd gag. That's too much blood for me. I like it warm, tender, seasoned and nummy. It was definitely nummy.

The funny part was the kids. We usually go to Outback steak house when we have a night out, but this time we went to Steak Village. Sydney was all excited, said "We usually go to a house, this time we're going to an entire Village!" :p

 No way! I like a bit of blood, not a deluge of it.

Fiberglass, I don't even go back for 6 weeks and I think they change it to another type of cast then. I can do crutches but got a wheel chair today for going to town.

And not coat hangers, the metal rod that goes in the file folder hangers, narrower and works better ( so they tell me)

And yes, except for a few legal issues over the workers comp ( going to be asking that on the legal board) but drugs and soap opera, who can ask for anything more.

"All My Children" is really getting good now. "Evil Janet" has returned (she's Amanda's mom.) You and I can do PMs on the storyline!

I don't know about you but I wouldn't try that with Walmart meat or any big chain. Only with a nice local butcher that has home grown beef.

    Steak TarTar anyone ?

Never heard of it. Is it a chain or a family business?

I'm not a big fan of pizza, not to my liking. There's only ever been one pizza that I've craved. My hubby worked with a guy, East Indian fellow, his wife's parents made the most amazing pizza I've ever had.

They opened a restaurant but sadly it wasn't rent controlled. After six months the landlord doubled the rent, they couldn't afford it and had to shut down. :(

Now they live in England. No one's ever made pizza that's ever come close to this. Secret family recipe. I may have to divorce hubby and marry their son so I can get my hands on that pizza. ;)
