    Are you sure I can't? I'm pretty sure it was the dance floors fault a few times! It had nothing to do with who I was dancing with, or the fact that I had had several beer (rich in vitamins I'll have you know :D) or that I had a few Tequila chasers ( Hey tekillya is alright as long as you have a lime with it, it's a serving of fruit isn't it?)

    I know one time when dancing with that damn Brit, it was his and the dance floors fault. He twirled me...and just forgot to catch me!! The dance floor was so darn slippery (that's my story and I'm stickin to it) that I went head long into the wall (the walls fault) and sliced my hand open on my brothers drum cases. Again, drum cases fault!

    So I question your sources who gave you that quote!! I bet they are floor layers, or carpenters of some sort! :D

    Hi honey. There were times when the floor moved on me too - but I tried my best to balance and fake it. After about 5 Gins straight or Irish Coffee - boy did that floor spin! Gosh, I miss the dancing but not the booze.. I have to admit it was all my fault though...

    Did you just eat something? One of those kisses was pretty wet! But I'm used to wet kisses from Alexander - and love every one of them.

    Last night I called while he was in the bathtub, and I asked him if he was splashing around, so he started splashing (heard it in the background). I told him to splash Mommy, and he did - she eeeked. Then I gave him a loud kiss and he kissed me back on the phone and said ciao before he gave the phone back to his mom - she thanked me for the splashing in a sort of sarcastic way. I can't for the life of me think what I did wrong.. I'm only being a grandma and loving it! That little fellow is just so sweet and wonderful! Got to think of what else I can talk him into doing next time.. hahaha.. I already bought a paint set, so we'll see how mom appreciates that once we try it out.

    A SMALL SET OF... DRUMS!! That will work!! When Bryan (my son) was 2 one of my sisters bought him a set... I looked (glared) at her and she just smiled. She said "now I am even for all those things you did to me when we were younger!" And she did get even, she showed him how to POUND on the drums. He learned quickly; morning, mid

    Oh, Stringer, darling.. give me a few to wipe my happy tears! That was lovely, thanks so much.

    On the subject of drums... I used to let my daughter take out the pots and pans and wooden cooking spoons to have some fun in the kitchen while I was doing something else. She had a lot of fun. Her pots are a little to expensive for that though, so I think drums are a good idea - as long as he does not play them when Daddy is around. Alex has a little Popcorn Roller, that just pops and pops while he pushes it and it drives his Daddy crazy, but he's cool about it for a while.

    Even though I'm looking forward to the wedding reception, Daddy and Alex have a slight flu bug now, and Mom might get it too within a few days.. so I sure hope they can handle it as it is too late to cancel. At least the guests should be encouraged to drink a strong drink with lemon in it to protect themselves or should I bring along my box o face-masks and pass them out to all the guests?? Now that would really be funny, but it would protect them. And I'll just flipping be upset if it snows on that day! - I just hate know and hoped I'd never see it again for as long as I live.

    If it snows here too much, can I use your place in Florida for a few weeks? - Only if I can kidnap Alexander and take him with me...

    Glad that you like the drum idea...

    Yep, the problem only increases with all the kissing that usually goes on, you know...

    Florida condo... yep and bring Alex... although we haven't had time to go in the last couple years. But my business partner and his wife are returning tomorrow from their 3rd trip in the last 6 weeks. Something is wrong with this picture...

    I know that yo are thinking... just go, easier said than done lately with my business crisis going on...

    We love you,:):):)

    Stringer dear, it seems that he is not taking the crisis as serious as you are. I think I need to send him a virtual kick in the arse! Wish I could find and send you a more competent partner. Could they both be trying to have as much fun now before all the money is gone, and don't care?? Yup, the KICK is over-due in my book.

    Hearing this makes me downright mad. If I could afford it, I'd bring my family for an extended stay there so that he cannot escape to it for a while - that would teach him a lesson. Send me his name per email so that I can put him on my Spook List so that he'll never get any rest once I start spooking.

    Wish I could do more, babe. But I do hope that you and Marta have time to enjoy weekends and a few nights out to make you feel human again instead of a business machine.

    LUB you both!

    OK folks, time to let your Acrobat Reader do it's job. Check out this document. My daughter sent it to me from her workplace. It's party planning time, and we all know what that can do to a person.

    That's why I'm glad that I don't have any company parties to plan any more...

    Hey, my MOSTEST... this one is for you and Marta..

    YouTube - Candy Dulfer - For The Love Of You

    All went super yesterday at the wedding reception for Alexander's parents. Dan even let me give him a kiss on the cheek and a hug.. I also got invited to Thanksgiving and Christmas. Wow, this is so heartwarming! It took a lot of tears and patience and am glad that it's happened. I promised I'd behave and I did. Kept myself busy with old friends and just enjoyed watching Alex play. He was so good even though he'd been up for over 8 hours, and still was laughing and smiling at everybody. That's my grandson.. always ready for any occasion and so cheerful too! Didn't have time to take any pictures, but my Italian son did, so as soon as I get them, I'll post. It was snowing when we went home, but I trusted Dan's driving as he was in Alaska, so he knows how to handle that yucky stuff. Some cool guy my daughter fell in love with - just downright makes me happy!
    I'm sure that all of your best wishes and prayers had a lot to do with this too - so thank you all ever so much.

    I dearly love my family! That means all of you too!

    I'm not saying that you should pass this on but it is a great story of giving...

    Amazing and inspirational. It is an important message to remember; if only the world could remember....

    OK, so it is no longer National Friendship week, but you are still my friends...
    FYI I didn't fact check this one, but its cute anyway..xo

    Irish Luck - Remember to send it back!

    I want this back. It DOES work.

    His name was Fleming, and he was a poor Scottish farmer. One day, while trying to make a living for his family, he heard a cry for help coming from a nearby bog. He dropped his tools and ran to the bog.

    There, mired to his waist in black muck, was a terrified boy, screaming and struggling to free himself.. Farmer Fleming saved the lad from what could have been a slow and terrifying death.

    The next day, a fancy carriage pulled up to the Scotsman's sparse surroundings. An elegantly dressed nobleman stepped out and introduced himself as the father of the boy Farmer Fleming had saved.

    'I want to repay you,' said the nobleman. 'You saved my son's life.'

    'No, I can't accept payment for what I did,' the Scottish farmer replied waving off the offer. At that moment, the farmer's own son came to the door of the family hovel...

    'Is that your son?' the nobleman asked.

    'Yes,' the farmer replied proudly.

    'I'll make you a deal. Let me provide him with the level of education my own son will enjoy If the lad is anything like his father, he'll no doubt grow to be a man we both will be proud of.' And that he did.

    Farmer Fleming's son attended the very best schools and in time, graduated from St. Mary's Hospital Medical School in London, and went on to become known throughout the world as the noted Sir Alexander Fleming, the discoverer of Penicillin.

    Years afterward, the same nobleman's son who was saved from the bog was stricken with pneumonia.

    What saved his life this time? Penicillin.

    The name of the nobleman? Lord Randolph Churchill .. His son's name?

    Sir Winston Churchill.

    Someone once said: What goes around comes around.

    Work like you don't need the money.

    Love like you've never been hurt.

    Dance like nobody's watching.

    Sing like nobody's listening.

    Live like it's Heaven on Earth.

    It's National Friendship Week. Send this to
    everyone you consider

    A FRIEND.

    Pass this on, and brighten some one's day.

    AN IRISH FRIENDSHIP WISH: You had better send
    this back!! Good Luck!

    I hope it works...

    May there always be work for your hands to do;

    May your purse always hold a coin or two;

    May the sun always shine on your windowpane;

    May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain;

    May the hand of a friend always be near you;

    May God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.

    And may you be in heaven a half hour before the devil knows you're dead.

    OK, this is what you have to do.... Send this to all of your friends.

    But - you HAVE to send this within 1 hour from when you open it!

    Now..... Make a wish!! I hope you made your wish!

    Now then, if you send to:

    1 person --- your wish will be granted in 1 year

    3 people --- 6 months

    5 people --- 3 months

    6 people --- 1 month

    7 people --- 2 weeks

    8 people --- 1 week

    9 people --- 5 days

    10 people --- 3 days

    12 people --- 2 days

    15 people --- 1 day

    20 people --- 3 hours
