What about the rest of me??
Kids are great until they become teens then they're not great until they turn 22. :D
Thank goodness I can't get reddies here! ;)
I have to add. We were all teens once, I know I drove my parents crazy. Heck, the worst thing that could happen is if one of my kids turns out to be a teen like I was. I don't think I could survive that.
Not much has changed since we were teens, except us. ;)
I know, me too, it's scary, make it stop. I can actully hear myself saying, "as long as you live under my roof......" I swore I'd never do that! Ahhhhhhhhhh!
As for the teens, they won't listen, did we? I was 14 once, I lived through it, barely. It doesn't matter how many times I tell these teens all my dirty little secrets, they refuse to learn from my mistakes. I wish someone had cared enough to make me see reason.
I just hope my kids listen to me when the time comes. I'd really hate to have to lock them in the basement until they're 30. ;)
Closets work best...
Perhaps it was "Flowers in the attic" M.
Wait, couldn't be, they were locked in the attic, not the closet.
Hmmmm, which movie was it Ken? We want to know. A home movie perhaps? ;)
One which I stared in,, NOPE
Seriously though,I did go through counseling with a VERY VERY pretty girl/woman who was put away in a closet for the behavior like the 14 yr old is talking about(but really she didn't,her step dad thought so and kept her in the closet every time she returned for school, and did it for 4 years)Extreme trauma.
