    Mornin' my dears!

I do love coming into work and reading how busy you all are while I'm gone!

Sneezy, darling, you need sleep! Wow... oreo cheesecake with Godiva crumbles... that's not too shabby! I'm a sucker for a good cheesecake!

Morning Alty, sweet! :) Yes, I noticed that as well about you, F4U, and I... The understanding is there... and its comforting.

    Yo Synn! S'up, girl!

    Mmmm... coffee...

I want my coffee spiked with Sudafed this morning.

    Thank you, come again.

Wow... that would confuse my system...

    Coffee="I'm up! I'm up!"
Sudafed="My head feels like a box o' rocks... I will seriously hurt you if you don't leave me ALONE!"

Yeah... um... If I don't make sense today, see the above post by HC.

    LOL! Sorry, Synn...

Actually... come to think of it... what I described up there is every day with me...

My karate/kick boxing training tends to rise its ugly head at odd moments... also when there is a serious lack of sufficient coffee in the vicinity...

(and let me tell you, kick boxing in stilettos? :D)

Oooh... HC, forget all those guys chasing you.

Come run away with ME, and we'll be stiletto wearing women camping with coffee.

    Morning all.

Sneezy - You do realize that you actually have to be awake to take your test, right?

Synnen - I'm sorry that you feel sick today, big bear hug from Alty, better?

HChicky - Did you notice that we were well behaved last night?

Ah coffee, second cup and counting.

    Chick Power!! :D

Camping. I love camping. As much as I love espresso from a Ily espresso machine, there is NOTHING better than fresh gourmet coffee over a campfire! Course, my Beans would be seriously jealous if I chose to bring the red stilettos camping... they are very persnickity when it comes to me not using them enough. I haven't been camping in so long its not funny.

Ooo... I'm sure there's some pretty nifty camping spots in Arkansas... ;)

Morning Alty! So glad to see you here! Yes, you all were very good last night!

I adore camping, we go every second weekend in the summer time. The kids love the great outdoors and it also allows me to re-live the happy times. My parents and I went camping all the time, from the time that I was 9 months old. Love camping, somehow the coffee tastes better when you're sitting outside by a camp fire. Can't wait until summer.

Ooo... ROAD TRIP!! Or, let me revise that, CAMPING TRIP!

Camping is awesome. My Dad and I were in this group with the YMCA when I was real little that went camping once a month. It was just for Dads and Daughters. It was my special alone time with Daddy. We'd watch the Milky Way come out while drinking coffee - well, mine was hot chocolate mixed with coffee! :) I still, to this day, talk to Dad when I see Orion.

    *sigh* happy memories. :)

There is NOTHING better than coffee over a campfire---that someone else has already done by the time I have to crawl out of my tent because I have to pee so badly.

We're so going to have to triangulate, HC. I'm not driving all the way to AR to camp when I've got a perfectly good cabin to go to here in MN.

My Dad new everything there was to know about trees and birds and wildlife, we'd hike in the woods and he'd tell me all about them. On his death bed my husband told my Dad that he was going to learn about tress and birds so that he can pass that on to our kids, just like my Dad would have done.

Our favorite thing to do while camping when I was a kid, Badminton. Memories, mark the corner of my mind, misty water colored memories. Okay, I'm not a singer.

Yup, let's plan a camping trip, I'll bring the hot dogs, who's going to bring the coffee?

    Pish posh.

I'm getting ready for my residency. I know... it's a bit early... but hey, why not?

Besides, sleep is for the weak. Plenty of time to sleep when I'm dead... from sleep deprivation.

I'm afraid I wussed out and went to bed at 3am. Darn library coffee did nothing for me.

Yep. 43 hours of staying awake. I'll save the record breaking for finals week.

Sneezy Dear, I had a dream about you last night,;) You were poking rats with sharp objects but you were so tired that you fell asleep, when you woke up you realized that the rats had all gotten together and performed a few experiments on you. Stay away from the rats today, I think this is a prediction of future events. :D

How about we go camping when you all come to Canada for the AMHD Barbecue. Synnen, I have a trailer, so you don't have to pee outdoors, and the coffee will be brewing because I'll set the timer the night before. When you have two kids roughing it is no longer a consideration, you just want to survive.:)

Wow... I've never actually camped in an RV... I've wanted to try, but just for the coffee and the semi-indoor plumbing thing... LOL!

I'm a tent girl, all the way! More cozy in my opinion! ;)

    Mornin' Sneezy, sweet. :)

You can sleep outside in your tent while Synnen and I do crossword puzzles in the trailer. I'll bring the coffee right to your tent flap in the morning.:D

We used to tent it, but when my son was born we bought a tent trailer, still have the tent trailer, so not an RV, the toilet that I was referring to is a porta potty, but it's still better than peeing in the outdoors, my aim sucks, my shoes can attest to that.:o

We are trading in the tent trailer for an RV this year, mainly because of the dogs. We have to take my husbands truck to go camping and that means that the dogs have to sit it the cab of the truck, I don't like that one little bit. If we get and RV the dogs can ride in it all the way to the campground. I'm getting to old to sleep in a tent, my poor back can't take it. And the tent trailer is to small for two adults, two kids, and two big dogs.:D

Not sure if this will be too much information, but in China? Two words... Squatty Potties...

    Ok... back to coffee! :)

Hee, hee, I think I get it.

Unfortunately my balance leaves something to be desired. I once had to pee at the top of a little hill, it was the only spot with tree coverage and there were other people around. Anyway, there's Alty doing the squat with her pants around her ankles, all is going well. I'm thinking, Hmm, I'm actually getting the hang of this, then I look down and there's a snake, I'm actually peeing on the snake! Scream, loose balance, topple down the hill. Hubby (who was then just boyfriend) and the strangers that were parked there, come running, find me at the bottom of the hill, covered in twigs and grass, with my pants down and my big butt mooning everyone. Really, I like indoor plumbing.

LOL! Wow, Alty... must say, that's embarrassing...

    My embarrassing squatty potty story...

I was taking an overnight train from Beijing to Inner Mongolia... i.e. 22 hours on a train. NOT FUN AT ALL! But I did it. Anyway, nature called. And believe me, nature waited quite a bit whenever I was on a Chinese train. If nature wasn't kicking and screaming, she was quite patient. One time nature was pitching a hissy fit and I gave in... sadly, my timing wasn't the best because as soon as I got in, got all "situated," and well, you know, I heard the door lock from the outside and felt the train come to a stop. Mind you, train squatty potties are simply OPEN... onto the track... yeah... well, turned out we had pulled into a station... I could figure this out because of the HUGE WINDOW... there I was, HC in all her glory, squeezed up against a nasty train bathroom wall, while the watching Chinese pointed and laughed at the stupid foreigner who gave into nature at the WRONG TIME!

Embarrassing. And no coffee to make it better. Just tea. Lots and lots of TEA.

(I love tea - especially Mu Li Hua (Jasmine flower) but at that moment I WANTED COFFEE!)

Hee, Hee, Pee, Pee. Okay enough.:D

I've got to go get my third cup of Java, so I'll be back in a bit.

My Mom has been in FL with her parents for the past week and a half - they aren't doing well at all. My Grandfather's Alzheimers is getting much worse. She's on her way back home and is going to spend the weekend at my place. Will be nice - and a good de-comp for her. She's been through Hades this past week... may hit a spa or get manicures... pamper her a little bit.

    Oh and eat Cadburry :)

I totally thought that Easter was next weekend, so I need to get my ducks in a row...

Anything on ice or frozen is my weak spot. Currently my choice is Starbucks Iced Coffee Italian Roast with 4 sugar and cream. I also have 4 coffee houses and coffee drive ups that do know my name and my choice of drink. They just ask if I want the usual today and whip it up just the way I like it. I choose my coffee spot by location but mostly what I feel like drinking. And like another already said I wish they delivered, because I run a day care facility and I just don't make coffee the way the experts do, trust me I have tried.

I'm back. Starty, I totally forgot about Easter until my husbands cousin called and invited us for Easter dinner. I've got to go and get the easter basket supplies tonight.

Oh, sad thing, my 9 year old told me yesterday that he knows that I'm the Easter Bunny, I wanted to cry, they grow up way to fast.:(

OK, all I'm getting are catering companies and listings for coffee shops. I KNOW where the shops are, I want them to come to me! Cause, gosh darnit, don't they know who I am! Man...

Ah, that's so sweet. How's tomorrow sound? I'd like blueberry pancakes, a side of hash browns, two eggs sunny side up, oh, and bacon. I'll be over around 9ish, can I bring the kids? Don't forget the coffee.

I've been busy giving Dear Abby advice to teens and the forlorn. Why do I read those posts?

Works for me! I'd like a western omelette rather than the sunny side up... mmm... Sneezy's a good chef, Alty, you won't be disappointed! :D

I don't know if they're happy to have us after I give them advice, I really have no patience for stupid people doing stupid things. I've got to learn to step back. Although I was pleasantly surprised today, I got a private message from a 6th grader, she asked me to look at her thread and offer some advice because she liked the fact that I didn't beat around the bush and I'd tell her my honest opinion. Maybe I'm not so bad after all.

5th cup of coffee, Yikes, time to switch to water.

It's the private messages like that that really make the difference, aren't they? I got one once that asked if she could email me again if she ever had problems because she appreciated my opinion. Makes you feel like you've done something good.

5th cup! Niiiice. I'm hitting starbucks for lunch again...

I didn't tell you, because I thought you'd be jealous, but since you brought up Starbucks; I went to McDonalds yesterday.
