Going to send it to Jaime so that she can play it for Alexander and I hope she keeps it forever. This applies to so many aspects in life - even in partnerships. Just goes to show that one should never try and crop any bird's wings.

Stringer, darling, I did take a picture of you after the girls and I did your make-up, and it does not look so bad.. am posting it here to that just a chosen few who were involved get to see it. I like it personally and I hope you and Marta like it too.

Also, the pictures of the postcards and other little cute things from all of you wonderful children are included. If I need two posts to attach them all, then so be it.

Here is Stringer.... and then I will post the Postcards afterwards.

Thanks so much again for all of the fun and I hope we have more in the future.

Oh, Stringer, that Sleepwalk video was so nice. When did you and Marta have the time to post for those characters? Now I know what I am going to use to make your puzzle out of.
I never tire of hearing the other song, it brings back so many sweet memories when I was able to dance and be the young rebel I still am. After all the crap I had to go through the last few days, I really needed that. You always know how to cheer me up dear.

As for the rest of you, I see that you've been busy with other things and have behaved here - that's just the break 'Momma C' needed - to know that her 'kids' can take care of themselves and I hope your past week has been wonderful.

Keep those wonderful postcards coming.. just got one of a great forrest where, if I had the chance to start over again, I would love to live in a cabin up there with my 'inner circle' and have all of you come visit.

I miss my daughter and hope she comes back soon. I can just imagine Alexander having a great time with his grandad because he has a golf-cart and uses this to drive around his 'little' piece of property. I know for sure that he's had Alex on his lap and letting him steer it already and hope that 'someone', anyone, took some pictures. I'm not really jealous, just wish that I could have gone alone to experience the warmth I'm sure he's receiving there, but I'm sure he'll try to tell me in his own words what he's been doing and how much fun he's had. It's hard not being able to see and feel the joy my little family if having right now.

So, bear with me in my moments of 'pitty pot' phases, it will get better once I hear all about it.

Starby, now that you mentioned it, Stringer did remind me of someone - and couldn't think of the name, you got it..

What's been going on with you, my AMHD children? Anything crucial that we need to talk about? You know I'll be here.. maybe not so often, but still here ready to dish out all the hugs you need, and I can use them as much as you.

Check you later, sorry if there are spelling errors, my smileys and spell-checker vanished. Darned computers and the programs that fix 'bugs' - the bugs I don't want, stay, and the ones I want to keep get take away - go figure.

    Love,

HUGS... HUGS... HUGS... HUGS... HUGS... HUGS... HUGS... HUGS... HUGS... HUGS... HUGS... BIG HUGE KISSEY WARM HUGS MOMMA!!

We need to live in our "Cabin" and listen to good music and dish, and reminice! Invite our company and have great food, and all niters sitting around the fire and telling good jokes! We need to be able to go and pee in the woods if we want to, and sing songs no matter how bad we sound.

We need to run around and have water fights, and laugh like hell when we get someone by surprise! We need to play all day long if we want to.

We need to cry when we want, laugh when we want, scream when we need to, and know that at the end of the day, we will all get a big hug and a kiss goodnight!

Our "Cabin" is a fun place to be! :D

Thanks so much Friend, I needed that one.
Today at the doctor's, I saw this young woman sitting by herself and crying, I walked up to her, sat down next to her and placed my arm around her, rubbing her back. Didn't know her from Eve, and didn't care what anyone else thought either, and she did not move away. She just accepted this gesture and it made me feel good too. We traded phone numbers and email addresses and we both made a new friend today... anyway, those 'oldies' in the waiting room didn't know what to make of it and I still laugh just thinking of their funny faces. They didn't make a new friend today - too bad. They are missing out.

Momma C, that reminds me of a story.

As you know, my mother suffered for 10 months with cancer, I was the one who took her for her treatments and stayed with her while she had chemo and radiation, got her lungs drained, blood transfusions, you name it.

Well, I don't have to tell you this, but cancer is a disease that has many steps, and as such our acceptance of the disease has many steps as well. First there is denial, then sorrow, then anger, then acceptance. My mother was not quite through the sorrow stage when she had her first chemo appointment. When we went there she was lamenting about her condition, feeling quite sorry for herself.

When we walked in, a young mother pushing a stroller with a child of around 2 years of age walked by us. Both of them had IV's, they were receiving their chemo treatment. A mother and child, both struck by cancer at the same time, both fighting for their lives.

My mother stopped, walked up to the young mother, gave her a hug, bent down and said hello to the toddler. My mom had tears in her eyes. The young mother turned to my mom and said, and I'll never forget these words "Don't cry for me or my son, you have a battle to fight as well. Just remember, you aren't alone".

Words of wisdom, they changed our lives. My mother went through all the steps that day, she went from sorrow to acceptance, completely skipped anger for herself, but had plenty of anger that such a young mom and child had to go through such a terrible time.

Momma C, you are not alone, and your battle, although only yours to fight, has been fought by many before you. Like the others, you were chosen to fight this battle because God knew that you could handle it, that you could live each day to the fullest. Regardless of your illness you get up each day and bring joy to others. You my dear Chery are special, blessed, and you bless us every day.

    Love you Momma C. :)

No, honey, you didn't miss anything, maybe I just didn't explain it right the first time. Manx is from the Australian ASPCA for all animal lovers and adopters to take him and his friends home.. and I think he's so cute too. Besides, I don't think that customs would have let anyone send a live animal in an envelope stamped all over with their customs 'seal of approval'.

Starby.. That cabin will probably need add-ons on a monthly basis - I know we can do it and think of all the fun we will have decorating it too. All of our talented sisters and brothers with their paintings, window colors, sewing - Boy I can't wait to see the first quilt! Oh, and let's not forget the special 'playpens' for all of our animal friends. I can just see the places outside enclosed with chicken-wire for the cats to go outside and climb all over the place and still be safe, and the long grassy enclosure for all the doggies, and then the pond for the ducks, turtles, etc. How about the little houses built for the rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters. I know at first it sound like a job, but I'm sure that Stringer and our other male friends will help us with the hard part once I make my special deer ragou, potato dumplings and red-cabbage. Can't wait for Startover to bake some of her special bread - by the way, where is she? She just might be visiting magprog in his private post, so I'll go and see if they are OK.

    TTFN,

See, Stringer, I knew Marta would like it, and we ALL know that you are a real Man! Each man also has his feminine side, and I'm certain she's seen your's before - and she loves ALL of you, so that says something. There's just no hiding a heart of gold from your partner - or me for that matter.
