Their time-keeping was circular, not linear. One cycle ends and another begins. That's all. Nothing spectacular or global about that.
I was referring to the date Dec , 2012 being the end of the Mayan "big cycle"
And the aligning of the planets on that date.
Malachai predicted a date as the end shortly after 2000, when the "church falls the world ends."
The same prediction was given by Nostrdamus about the end of the world "shortly after" 2000 when the church falls.
It is also the date predicted by Terrance McKenna in the "70s
That also singles out other historical events correctly.

And the I Ching when looked at in comparison to McKennas formula it also singles out this date.
I also realize that McKennas methods were "unconventional" at the very best, but his theory predicted the" date of change, 2012" in !970.
All of this was done before the 2012 craze got so popular.
