Wishes for a speedy recovery. I would 'milk' this for all I could get from hubby.

Today (Sunday) is a MUCH better day. The pain is better, I was able to sleep last night, it pulls but the swelling is down.

I must be better - now I'm working on finding the truck. Up until now I just shrugged when asked about it.

Thanks for your good thoughts and prayers.

It's a lesson to be learned - I just can't figure out what the lesson is!

The lesson is to drive a semi, no one can hurt you then, but they better watch out! ;)

Wishes for a speedy recovery Judy. Silver lining, it could have been worse. Ya, I know, that doesn't help much, but still... :)

I just happened upon your post. I hope you don't have any scarring and you were extremely lucky; you kept your wits about you or you would have been in some really nasty trouble.

Take care and mend well and don't stay in that dark corner too long !

Thanks - had the last of the stitches removed and he did a WONDERFUL job. The area nearest my eye is the worst (puffed area) but the scarring is going to be minimal. I'm sure I gushed all over when I saw it because the Doctor looked embarrassed. My No Fault DID pay the medical bills.

I could do without the scar but I am a happy camper with the result.

Thanks everyone for being there at the time - I was just rattled to the core.

Laughing - I tried landscapers (thinking it was one of "them) and topsoil providers (same thing) and came up with nothing. Of course, the people overhead probably had no idea and I don't know that anyone on the ground saw it.

There's a lesson here - I think it's to wear sunglasses when you are in a convertible or (as my husband said), "Sell the 'darn' convertible."

I love convertibles... Hope you find them JudyK .It will probably happen again and has probably happened before. These drivers of the uncovered loads remind me of what Ron White said; " Now a days they can fix your hearing to where you're able to hear a pin drop in the Grand Canyon...but you can't fix stupid."... That's true..
