How's a nice cup o' coffee with a splash of Irish Cream do you, this lovely, lucky morning?

I just want to say that I'm having a hard time finding something green to wear this morning, because most of my green stuff is lighter weight, and it's SNOWING, dang it!

    (and I haven't seen a robin yet!)

No Robins here either and it snowed yesterday.

Would anyone believe that I'm wearing Green underwear?

    Happy Saint Patty's Day Everyone.

Coffee is a must have this morning, I only got two hours of sleep last night. Yawn.

I didn't check the calendar. All I know is that my kids had to wear green to school today or risk being pinched.

I had to drive the kids to school, we missed the bus (my bad) and I wasn't wearing green. One of the little boys in my daughters kindergarten class came up and pinched me, he's lucky that I had a cup of coffee before he did that, otherwise he might have ended up learning how to fly. I hate it when the kids miss the bus. UGH, driving in the morning sucks. I have to go through 3 school zones before getting to my kids school, going 30km/hour isn't my style. I'm grumpy.

Time for another cup of java. Where are the girls? HC, Starty, Synnen, where are you? Not that you aren't good company Sneezy, you're Great!

HC, I was told that you were a writer. You have meetings?

Driving kids to school is one of those joys I won't experience... at least for another 5 - 10 years. The M-word still stops my heart just a little bit.

LOL!! That's awesome Alty... poor kindergartener... learning to fly... love it.

I'm going to Starbucks for lunch... for one of my divinity-in-a-cup espresso concoctions. Mmm... bad meeting = intense need for caffeine.

Yes, I am a writer. Long story short, my company relocated from Tampa Bay. When they relocated they lost 75% of the staff. The 15 man editorial/curriculum development department was reduced to lil' ol' me. Sooo... I am the go-to-girl for anything print. New ad campaigns, internet FAQs, curriculum reprints, initial curriculum development, articles for print, magazine ads, legal junk, presidential speeches, you name it, I write it.

This was a marketing meeting... a marketing meeting that I walked out of with three more projects on TOP of my original 7.

Oh well... I just need more coffee... the more coffee I drink the faster I type! :D

HChicky - My hubbies on nights this week so he's going to pick my daughter up from school, do you think I should ask him to stop at Starbucks on the way back? Alty happy, hubby happy, that should convince him.:)

... falling asleep. Sadly, I was up with you alty. Why? Not sure why. I've been having trouble sleeping lately.

up until 530. Woke up at 7. realized class wasn't going to happen. Went to 930 class. Back home for lunch. Going to work. Home for dinner. Out sbucks to do more work.

... when will this madness end?

oh yeah, in less than 2 months =D

2 months! You can do it! What is a brief 2 months, but a puddle in the grand oceanic scheme of things? Will we have to address you as DocSneezy from then on? ;)

Not sleeping? That's not fun. I know I slept really well this weekend... dressed windows (i.e. non-naked) are much better than blinds for keeping light out... Ooo... there you go, Sneezy... get yourself one of those fluffy "DIVA" sleep mask things...

Maybe not "DIVA"... I'm sure they'd have a more masculine one... :D

I heard it, and decided that the Vatican was on crack.

Like they're going to move parades and such in big cities like Chicago that take MONTHS of planning. Screw that.

I'm wearing green, I'll pinch anyone who isn't, and damn the church anyway.

Besides, they're stealing TWO of my holidays again this weekend.

Sadly, I will not be docsneezy as I have to also go to med school. You can refer me as dr. sneeze in about... 4 years.. . oof.

Yeah they've been changing things up left and right. The "new 7 deadly sins..." was a good'un too.

I DID get pinched by a dude Saturday for not wearing green. This is how our altercation went down:

    Dude pinches me
    Me:... what the hell dude?
Dude: (slurring) YOU'RE NOT WEARING GREEN!
Me: oh... clever. Wait... neither are you!!
Dude: well... you can pinch me...
    Me:... no? ::walks away::

Maybe a masculine one with glitter... glitter always makes things better!

    Can you get masculine glitter?

Hee, Hee, you guys are funny. I'm feeling better now.

Okay, off topic. I usually do a crossword puzzle with my morning coffee, after dropping the kids off at the bus stop. I didn't get to it today and decided to take a glance. I'm sleepy and the brain isn't working at full speed today so I need some help. Keep in mind that I never look up the answers and I refuse to look on the internet for the answers too. So I'm asking my coffee buds.

Clue: Hindu priestly caste. Answer: _ ra_ _ _ n
    Clue: Window on a corbel. Answer: U _ I _ l (urial?)
Clue: "Tristram Shandy" author. Answer: St _ _ _ e

I'm awaiting your answers. Remember, this is driving me nuts.

I AGREE!. I will be a pinching maniac at work tonight!
Alty... I am right there with you on the green.
Sneezy, you are going to make it through for sure!
HChicky, enjoy your coffee, and git typing!!
I will do my cleaning, I haven't been home much, working my buns off, and when I am gone, nothing gets done here, so Here comes the clean up crew, Staover22, Start, and Starty... LOL
(I am going to ask little Maxy to help me, he is four and he normally refuses any WORK)
    Have a great day all!

Sneezy, thanks, Sterne, knew that, couldn't recall. Thanks.

Hey, when you are finally a Doctor will you change your username to Doc? I think that you should go through all the seven Dwarfs. You're already Sneezy, in 4 years you'll be Doc, I'm sure that you are Sleepy at times, and Dopey. Grumpy, isn't everyone at times, Happy, I hope so, and last but not least, Bashful (doesn't quite work, but it's the only one that doesn't)

Did I cover all seven? Today I'm Sleepy and Grumpy with spurts of Happy.

Believe it or not, I rarely sleep... I've never really needed much sleep to function. With 3 - 5 hours (which is what I normally get), I'm perfectly fine. It's something that drove my parents to be on the brink of putting me up for adoption as an infant.

    I am QUITE bashful.
