    Hello dad:

I'm a fan of Top Shot on the History Channel. Have you seen it?

I was awarded two shooting ribbons when I was in the Navy; distinguished pistol and distinguished rifle.

I have been watching it but last nights show was a little disappointing. They made it too easy. Looked like beach ball size baloons for targets and furthest out was 150 yards. No brainer there. Lol. Exy thank you for your service to this country.

Did you see the "shooting gallery" episode yet?

Did you catch any of the new WW2 they had on history channel. They went back and enhanced the films before they tied it all together. It was like being there.

I think I read somewhere or I may have dreamed this... A lot of footage used in "Saving Private Ryan was provided by the History channel. Didn't know they could do that. Have you seen the one about the real Jessee James and the one about Doc Holiday... he sure didn't look like Val Kilmer:eek:

The funny thing about those 6 shooters is that they weren't near as accurate as portrayed. Have you ever shot a gun that took 45 lc ?

Since it has been awhile I thought I would post something a little different to this thread. As many of us are awre there are places where gun ownership is frowned upon or for the person that wants a choice of non lethal weapon I have come across something of interest to all.

In another thread I suggested a paintball gun that shoots pepperballs. Well if you have never seen one nor heard of it before I thought a link to it would be helpful. It's a nonlethal choice for those that would like an option or don't have the option of a lethal weapon.

The TAC -700 looks like my kind of baby. If I were being stalked and he came near me here in the US I would shoot him. I'm rabid when it comes to my family and children. I could drop him from 30 ft with my S&W 38.

Sure but as we are seeing our northenly friends don't really have the same options. Also some don't like the lethal option. So this is a solution that could get them out of trouble. The FPS on a paintball gun is pretty high. Just imagine it filled with pepper balls. ;)

Those are awesome and are another option. Can you imagine being popped in the head or eyes with Tac-700?

If shot in the eye then that person may not survive it. That would directly inject it into the brain. And the paintball gun is accurate to 60 ft and is a semi automatic so you can pop them and keep popping them or lay down a field of fire to protect against multiple attackers. Great nonlethal option.

Did you see the solid nylon ones? They are called glass breakers.
