To all teens that wish death to their parents or are thinking about running away
You have no idea how hard it is to live only with a cat
Even if you hate your parents and they hate you back they care for you
I have lost my family due to a war and the corrupted laws that we have here
I work many jobs just to get something to eat for me and my cat
Although when my parents were alive I hated them just like they hated me I would do ANYTHING to have them back
I have never lived in a safe home
I have never felt the love of a mother nor father
Losing them forced me to do everything without guidance which resulted me getting in and out of jail and never doing anything right
If I had their help none of that would have happened
I would have been a better person
The problem is that most teens think that everything is free and don't know that their dads pay for everything
(food, water, rent... etc) and that everything is expensive and that they go many hours a day to get that money
Other than money its so hard living without support from anyone
Doing everything alone is not easy
I can't rent a small safe apartment so I had to go in the most dangerous places because I can hardly pay the rent
Going from job to job because I couldn't go to school and I still can't because I don't have the time nor money which in your case your dad is paying so that you can get a good job in the future and stay in it and have a happy family
So if your parents say no just know that its for your own good and then thank them for their concern because they will not last for ever and you will need it later on
I guess we don't know a good thing until we lose it
I'm sorry if I mistyped some words
I hope you got the picture

Now I'm confused - this is a Q and A board. What is your question? Or is this a discussion - in which case it should be moved.

In this thread you said you quit your job to spend as much time as you could with your girlfriend: https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/teens/...ip-698286.html

Did you quit a job to be with your girlfriend?

It can be on the Teen board only if you ask a question.

Or I can make it a blog essay and leave it open to discussion and comments there.

So is this you, your story?
Previously you said you had been dating a girl for 5 years and gave up your job and money for her. I don't understand.
But the premise is good. Appreciate your parents, you won't have them forever.

I'm sorry that you had to go through all of this. I can see your point by telling others to appreciate what they have.

How old are you? How long ago did your parents pass?

I am sorry I prefer that I stay unknown
    And about 7 years ago

I've read your posts and I realize that you have reservations about telling your location.
Although it would be helpful in understanding some of your posts better.
Would you be comfortable with at least filling us in on your age?
I'm guessing you are fairly young, maybe early 20's.

I stay unknown for many reasons
One of them is most of the time people take advice from a complete stranger more than someone you know
In other words advice becomes more effective

Even when I give face to face advice I wear a mask

Actually, that's not true -- or I spent nearly $20,000 and three years in grad school to be told lies.

Most people accept advice from someone they respect, someone who is honest with them, someone who is empathic and can get inside their skin to feel some of their pain.

Inso, by giving your age you will not be opening yourself up to people taking advantage of you, nor does it mean they will know your location. But, rather, many times advice is age specific.

For example, we would not give the same advice to a 15 year old than we would to a 25 year old.

We aren't asking you to reveal anything more personal than your age.

Why do you feel great doubt? We only know that you are a male and you are 16. Other than that you are completely anonymous.

And that makes your first post in this thread even more valuable because you are speaking to your age group out of great personal suffering and incredible life experience. Now that we know you a little bit and realize you have deep empathy, we respect your advice even more.

And that's okay to us. We don't NEED to know your real name, we can call you Inso, or Jester if you want.

I am sorry you had to go through such hard times in your young life.

    Wow, I was off quite a bit, wasn't I?
I was guessing a little older because you seem to have had your share (and mine) of pain and inner turmoil, you are very young to have suffered the loss of your parents.
It saddens me to know that, I know that sound generic and across the board, but not only am I someone's child, but I am someone's mother and someone's grandmother, if only I could express it better, I truly am sorry to find that you lost them while you were so young.
By the way, thanks for letting us know your age.
You still are completely anonymous, you know.

I'm amazed with this level of fear of the Government, afraid to give a first name, extremely reluctant to give his age, how/why the OP is using the Internet, posting on a public site.

For that matter, he has computer access.

I hope everyone is right and I am wrong.

But your other post (about being an anarchist) seems to state you are concerned about corruption, corrupted laws: "im a person that will never be ruled by someone who kills his own people daily just for fun and money; i will never accept to be used by bad laws; police here rob you in the street; i am a person that wishes to live in peace under a good rule; im sure you have heard of the arab spring; who can see his own brothers die on the battlefeild and stay quiet; im sure you would do the same as i am doing now; what do you know about being put in jail for nothing; and there is no proof that you did it at all; what right does a policeman have to break down the door and order money?? well you want to know me?; im a person that wants to live safely in my home; im a person that wants to live like other people in other countries; tell me who wouldnt be against a bad ruler? you would never understand how it feels; now if u had a bad gov would you do what im doing now or not?"

If that is the case I cannot believe you are on the Internet in "your Country," unconcerned. In many ways you sound like a disgruntled student, somehow who incites other people to act.
