At any rate, if you had simply read before agreeing, you wouldn't have had to worry about someone sending it off to your company.

How do you know that someone sent info to the company and which company? Your direct employer or one of the others?

If it was sent, it is probable that one of the companies mentioned subscribes to a reputation protection service that monitors the web for mention of the company name. I seriously doubt if any member (especially one of the regulars) would have done this.

Anyway, I'm sorry you did not realize that this is a public site. You found us by doing a web search, so I'm not sure why you would think that this would be private.

In any case, you got good advice, and, if the events you have listed were accurate, then I doubt if you have to worry about slander. I wish you good luck in resolving this.

You are right you didn't say that. In odinn's defense, reading your posts do give the impression that you are upset at this site. But his post was out of line.

Let me say this. In the TOS (Terms of Service) those of us that are on here are forbidden from offline contact. All communications are suppose to be within the threads as far as dealing with the questions. But we do have a PM service also where you can send a message to another on AMHD. If you feel someone here violated a rule by crossing the line. Then please pm one of the mods (expert user) with the header information and we will be happy to look into it and pass it up the chain as needed.

We do try to give the best answers here as we can and strive to do so daily.
It is not any part of policy to email anyone with information unless there is eminent threat.

I'm closing this thread. I don't believe anyone was rude to you, we have only tried to help you. No one is saying you are stupid. But I see there is no point in saying anything further.
