Secondly, I carried an olbas oil inhaler around with me and kept sniffing it up my nostril. Thirdly, three or four times a day, I took a sudafed tablet and, an hour later, blew my nose hard and washed it out with warm salty water. Finally, whenever my nose felt blocked, I massaged the sinus area between my nose and cheek with my fingertips till the blockage eased (usually, a combination of massage and olbas oil would free the sinus within five minutes or so). It took a few weeks to clear it, but at last the smell is completely gone. I know how distressing this condition can be, so I hope this helps someone. Remember - drink plenty water! It's vital. I think this condition is triggered by dehydration - the mucus gets so thick it ceases to run down the sinus tube, stagnates and turns rotten. Above all, don't despair - it can be cleared. Good luck!
