I use a French Press since my husband replaced the Cuisinart with a Kurig and I'm too cheap to use those little pods.
I also don't want 2 coffee pots on my counter.:)

I just fill the grinder almost full with beans and use that for 16 ounces.

I can't really tell the difference. I have tried 4 different kinds, none of them flavored.

I thought it was more for convenience or laziness.

I don't know what the Kurig is. Explain please.

As for french press, yes, have one too, love making coffee with that if it is just me for coffee in the morning.

Okay, no need to explain, googled it. It's a Keurig, not Kurig and yes those pods are expensive here in Canada, especially now with our new harmonizing tax, instituted on Canada Day July lst so we can all enjoy paying more money right from the start !
