Aw, Alty!! Well said, and I couldn't agree more. I just wish I had had the time to get closer to Chery before she took hiatus from AMHD.

Yep, it does.

Too many memories. But it doesn't hurt as much anymore, in fact, it often makes me smile.

Two such amazing women, both going through so many struggles, both with such caring hearts. Momma C the survivor and Starby, our little duck that tried.

We're a lucky group to have them touch our lives.

Chery is at home Clough, she should be set up with her bed and visiting companion at this point. Larry her cat will not leave her side.

I have news that is not very good. Chery is not doing well...

Jamie emailed this to me 10 before 8AM this morning.

"Important news on Mom."

"Mom's status is weakening day by day. I don't know how much longer, it could be any day now. I see her twice a day, and spend hours with her, before I go home with Alex and take care of him. I spoke with the doc today and he came to see her, I spoke with him about how serious her status is and her agrees that she needs 24 hour watch. I spoke with him about getting a red cross message written for me to give to them, so Dan and Ed can home soon. I'll be passing this message to the Red Cross tomorrow as soon as I have it.

I'll keep everyone posted as possible."

I am in shock, I don't know what else to say. Chery we love you, keep fighting, always, keep fighting.

I spoke with Chery two days ago, she seemed in good spirits, she even seemed stronger, this is sad, very sad.

I think we all expected something would happen eventually, but, she sounded so strong just two days ago.. even better than when she went into the hospital this time...
