    A riddle for you
Here's an easy riddle. Let's see who guesses it right. :)

A man and his son are in a car accident.

Two ambulances come and father and son are transported to separate hospitals.

When the son is wheeled into surgery the doctor looks at the patient and says "I can't operate, he's my son".

    How is this possible?

You walk in to your apartment and find fred and wilma dead on the floor, surrounded by glass and water. Doug is asleep on the couch. How did
    Fred and Wilma die?

I think I posted this a long time ago so no cheating, Haha

    Was ICE involved?
  • Dec 5, 2009, 08:39 AM

    Hmmmmmm.

I was thinking an Ice Cycle used to stab them and it melted... oh well... there is still the glass problem...

I thought the same thing too Stringer which is a genius idea... Think hard. I had someone solve this in 13 minutes the other day. It took me 3 days and that used to be the record. Haha

Why are Fred and Wilma in my apartment and who the heck is Doug? ;)

Well, Fred and Wilma are from prehistoric times, so, if they're in my apartment that would mean that they would have been frozen (maybe during the ice age) and probably encased in glass. Did Doug turn up the heat melting the ice which caused the glass case to break, killing Fred and Wilma?

Wait, Fred and Wilma are cartoons!

I still want to know who Doug is. :(

My illustrious business partner... and he probably did it.

Well Bear seems you have heard this one before huh?

Anyway, Bear is right, except doug is your dog and he knocked the bowl off the counter breaking the bowl and leaving the fish helpless and they died. The end!

Yeah I had sort of but I think they were different names or theyd been swapped around, i.e something like doug and wilma are dead and fred is asleep on the couch sort of saying it looked like wilma was cheating on fred (if you go with the flintstones theory :D )

Nope, not money either. Do you think money is greater than god, the poor have it and you die if you eat it? Haha

    Hello adam:

Too ethereal for me. But, I'm going to think on it.

Here's one. You're in a small four sided house. There's a window in each wall. Each window faces south. You look out one of the windows and see a bear. What color is the bear?

    Hello again,

Ok, smarties... What's the answer to adams?

    excon

PS> All right. I got another scientific one, kind of...

You're on a ship in the northern hemisphere sailing south. You are about to cross the equator. Your cabin has NO portholes or communication devices. It DOES have toilet, a clock, a sink, a refrigerator, a knife and fork, and a table and chair.

Using ONE or more of those items, you'll be able to tell exactly WHEN you cross the equator.

    How?
  • Dec 14, 2009, 08:23 AM
    albear

Well I'm inclined to go with the which direction does water flow down a drain clockwise for north anti clockwise for south, so that would be the toilet and sink,
... but that's a common misconception so I'm not so sure

    Hello bear:

Yup... But, you got to help me out. I AM under that "misconception". I also believe that hurricanes twirl a different direction in the southern hemisphere for the same reasons... No? It has to do with the direction the earth rotates. Yes?

No idea about hurricanes, or the earths rotation effecting it so, to be honest I also thought it was true until I was shown otherwise, now I just know it depends on how the bowl and pipes are made that dictates which way the water will drain out :)
