These were amazing! Thank you for sharing! It took looking at a few before I saw the little box and clicked on it to view a segment more detailed. I am so glad I didn't miss that. They were amazing just to view in their entirety but some of what you see in the detailed box blew me away! Great link. :p

I'm not much of an artist myself so not a reliable art critic at all... from what I can see though, it's a fascinating painting. Is it something you did? It's actually really good.

HAH! I couldn't pull that off with a gun to my head. I can't draw recognizable stick figures... it's awful.

No, it's something I got off a silent auction at a charity event... currently hanging on my wall...

I have a few other artworks that I acquired... as much as I'm not an artist, I like to make people believe I have artistic taste... heh.

    I'll post the others soon.

Sneezy If I say its art, in my mind its art and valuableto me so that's all that counts.

Lol, give us the name in the corner and we can figure out if maybe you have something really valuable or at least look at some of their other work.

Its not something I would buy but I did find it interesting how the little communities are circled and it looks like there are ladders to get there.

The little communities that are circled are actually newspaper cutouts of passport sized photos of past great artists... like bruce springsteen, abba, kiss, etc.

I haven't looked at every single one of them... so I'm not sure if there's a significance to certain groups... but one day.

The ladder... there are random sayings painted that says "What men are after" and the painting is actually called "Ladders of Ascension"

    G,
I think the latte art so beautiful and I could stare at it all day and not drink a sip:)
(I am not much of a coffee drinker;).. )

The first one Costa Rica coffee art is so fascinating and to be able to drink the art.. now that is called being creative in art.

You reminded me of a Chinese poem I love that I can't find at the moment... went searching and found this instead, which is just as good (what a find). I'm looking forward to reading through the poetry...

Dare I post one of my pics? Dare I? Okay, I will.

This is the best picture I can take. Unfortunately there is a spray that I put on my oil paintings that doesn't do well when taking photographs, sorry. In real life the painting isn't glossy and it's much sharper than this.
