Unfortunately, it didn't work. I would suggest going to the section of the site where you can try out how features work. You can find it by clicking HERE.
At least we're both in Windows operating systems. So, that's a good start!

If you press the orange "Answer this Question" that's to the left, it will give you more options to use in a post. Then you click on the little paper clip thing to upload images.
I attached a picture to this message to see if it works
Hey dude I got to hit the hay now post any more messages and I will get back to you asap
Hey, your image came through loud and clear! Great Job! :)
I do need to know more about what you know. At some point, would you please tell me the names of all of the chords that I used in each measure of the completed sample and in the same order of the measures? You don't have to do it right now, just at some point in the near future. We do need to know that we're both "on the same page" concerning knowledge about at least basic chords. Knowing chords is essential to composition.
I'll be back after awhile. I know that it's late for you. I'm on a phone line and always have great difficulty at this time of day navigating on the Internet. I have been disconnected from the Internet many times since beginning with you, what? Maybe an hour ago. I can navigate much easier at a later time...
I'm going to download some of the demo stuff from Sibelius too. That should hopefully, be a help here.
Thanks!
Just so you know Ryan, I'm going to return to this thread in about 2&1/2 hours.
Thanks!
Hey I'm back now
Hi, Ryan!
We're missing each other here! I asked you a question about chords in Post #46 above.
Thanks!
Ooo OK I see it now I'm looking now
You've used no chords
Hey not been talking much keep missing each other I will be on more over the weekend and Friday.
Okay. I'll look forward to that! :) Please do try to answer the question that I asked. It's not hard to figure out the chords. I made them easy on purpose. There are both Major and minor ones. All are in the root position.
If you do need help with learning about chords, then I can also help you with that.
Thanks!
Just so that you can have an idea as to how chords work with composing, I've put some block chords with the small fragment of your composition that you included earlier in this thread. I also cadenced the fragment so that it has an ending.

The chords to the above are: F, C, C, C, dm, gm, C and F.
Thanks!
Here's the same fragment with the same chords, with just a little more complicated accompaniment.

If there's something that you don't understand about what I've posted, it would be helpful if you would let me know so that I can help you the best. I can't read your mind.
Since you said that you play the piano and the guitar, I was assuming that you did know something about chords.
Thanks!
So, are we done here, Ryan? I was really looking forward to working with you more! Are you okay!
Thanks!
Sorry I haven't been on in a while just been having a bit of trouble where were we. So chords are obviously not my strong point
So, how about you put together a melody using what I had posted earlier as an example? Same key, time signature and same number of measures, and then post an image of it here.
I can show you how you can make improvements to it as well as add the other instrumental parts.
Thanks!
Did you finish your assignment, ryan_milligan?
Thanks!
