Hmmm... I think some people don't even get a title until halfway through their writing. I want kind of a strange title that has nothing to do with it. Lol.
Well actually, how about:
The Horror on Zane Street... I don't like it
That came from nowhere actually.
Any ideas?
Bear, Maybe just a little more touch of evil!
This is also the movie where nobody lives. I know nowadays everybody lives to give that satisfaction of hope... nope not in this one. Everyone dies a horrible horrible death.
Exactly Bear. Someone always lives and ends up killing the killer and the cops come. That is not allowed in my movie. I want everybody to expect that and then bam the girl who lives at the end is all of a sudded grabbed by the killer he cuts her arms off, stabs her repeatadly and then cuts her arms off and throws the body in front of a semi then kills the semi driver.
Not really going to put it into the movie that way but you get my drift.
That's a lot of killing are you sure your all right, you know in the head :D (j/k)
I kind of like Final Destination. Lots of gore...
Dawn of the dead... I don't think anybody lived in that movie... zombies kind of rules the earth... now that freaks me out because it could happen...
I get freaked out by the new age zombies from 20 days/weeks later and dawn of the dead... not resident evil.. reason being, I could run away from the resident evil zombies, they are slow... but in Dawn of the Dead.. damn they are quick!
So Adam, is your movie going to be more freaky or more gory or more jumpy? Lots if blood and guts, or just freaky things popping out and killing people. Wow... I've seen too many horror movies. Too bad my partner doesn't like horror at all :(
Lol and agree with your thinking, and fast zombies are scary, one tiny detail though, and I know I'm being pedantic but in the 28 days/months later films they're not technically dead (as they can starve to death), which for me is an essential qualification you need to be a zombie :D
Again sorry to be so picky, but I can't let stuff like that slide with one of my favourite films :)
Haha... true true... OK then... lol... looks like you really know your stuff... :)
I agree... they weren't really dead... yet... not like in the other shows...
Have you seen a movie called Zombie Stripper? Lol! That's a funny one about a bunch of strippers who become zombies. Quite stupid, looks like a b'grade movie and not scary, but worth a laugh. Lol
My movie kind of moves away from too much gore because it's kind of like there is gore/scary and then just scary. Ya know what I mean?
Lesbian vampire killers?
I got to see that... lol
Lol yea that's exactly what I thought when I first heard about it lol :D
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1020885/
"Shutter" (2008) with Joshua Jackson and Rachael Taylor was a wonderful - and very creepy - movie about spirit photos or "The Strangers" (2008) with Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman is a great choice. It's one of those, creepy-because-it-really-could-happen movies. Also, if you're interested in serial killer stories "Ted Bundy" (2002)... there are several movies about him, but the version with Michael Reiley Burke skeeved me out so bad I couldn't sleep for a week and I STILL have to check under the bed before I go to sleep! Hope this gives you some ideas!
Hmmm reviews don't look all that great for it... but o well, might check it out sometime when it comes out on DVD... lol
Been watching the Supernatural series on TV with my sisters. They like the actors in it, but I think the stories are pretty cool, and some of the scary stuff is all right too...
Yeah the reviews aren't that warm to it but as my flat mate kept on telling me 'you only want to go and see it because of the name', which is true :D
Yea I watch supernatural too on the odd occasion, I like the horror and creatures but I've been long lost on the story
Haha... yeah well, if the movie was called "Vampire killers"... then hmmm... maybe wouldn't see it, but the "Lesbian" part makes it more... Interesting... lol ;)
I watch it all the time, sisters are infactuated with those guys, but anyway, I get the story too. Its not the typical horror story. Think Buffy, just with 2 brothers instead of 1 chick, and more demons and ghosts than Vampires... but its also quite educational too... learn some interesting facts about all these weird freaky things...
Haha... well, if Lesbian Vampire Killers is anything like Zombie Strippers, it will be funny... lol
Yeah the teaching thing is cool... like it teaches about all sorts of stuff, like yesterday I saw an episode on death echos and stuff... Interesting how when a person dies and their death was shocking and sudden, they could have a death echo where the spirit is stuck in a loop of their death over and over again, and someone has to shock you out of it if possible, so u can stop dying all the time as a spirit. Lol!
Book marked for future reference :D
Okay, I know I'm a few days late but I've got some :D
The only horror movies that really get to me are the "Omg, this could actually happen... " movies. Someone already suggested "The Strangers" with Scott Speedman and Liv Tyler; I have to add "Vacancy" with Luke Olson and Kate Beckinsale... creepy sh!t.
I saw "Drag Me To Hell" a weekend or two ago.
It was just wow.
Anyone else seen it?
Sarah
Not yet but its on my todo list as soon as I can get some mates to grow balls and go as well because I'm not seeing that on my own lol :D
First you ask for the strength from the god..
Whenever you remember that movie... try to speak loudly this line for 5 minutes.
"DADA BHAGVAN NA ASIM JAY JAYKAAR HO"
TRY TO AVOID HORROR MOVIE IN NIGHT AND ALSO IN DAYS...
What lies beneath is amazing! You HAVE to watch it!
Xx
This is an older but good movie starring Nick Nolte, Ewan McGregor, Patricia Arquette and Josh Brolin, before they became big! IT is called Nightwatch! Ewan goes to work in a morgue, it is older probably about 1985- A MUST SEE!
Dang I'm tied between "Session Nine" and "Blair Witch Project"
Are you talking mainstream horror or kind of off the wall I've never heard of it horror?
Mainstream- The Ring (I'm sorry I know it's cliché, but that girl climbing out of the TV freaked me out for WEEKS. I couldn't sleep without my TV covered.)
Non-mainstream- I recently watched a sort of B-movie horror film, simply for the fact that Danny Trejo (whom I adore) had a very brief part in it (I was disappointed with his brief role, but THRILLED with the movie). Anyway it's a 2007 film that mostly has non-descript actors with the exception of Jake Busey (Identity, Tomcats), called Death Row. VERY scary.
When it comes to horror, my fave is Steven King.
Watch a move called "The Mist".
You will be horrified.
1960 movie version of Edgar Allen Poe's "The Telltale Heart".
I think this is where Pink Floyd got the beating heart sound idea.
I always liked the movies that made you scared of something, but you weren't sure what:
The Others
The Changeling (1980 version - The 2008 version is a completely unrelated movie)
Mirrors is prity good
I thought the movie "Shutter" was scary, especially if you've been screamed by the "Grudge" movies!!
